Naan

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2005
The heaviness in this recipe due to the use of bread flour, which has a high gluten content. I used all purpose flour instead and there was no bready taste. This recipe is Naan. However, it makes a lot more than it says. I rolled it as thin as I could then cooked it on a pan that was lightly sprayed with olive oil. Perfect!!!!

Cracked Sugar Cookies I

Delicious. These aren't your average sugar cookie, which is the best thing about them. They have a melt in your mouth quality and a beautiful appearance. Everyone loved them and I will certainly be making them again!

Coconut Shrimp I

I had a party and served these. They were gone within 10 minutes, and I had people coming up to me all night long telling me how great they were. Even my boyfriend who hates seafood loved these, and that's saying something!

S'more Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2005
Everyone loves these! I use my own brownie base and instead of 8 Hershey bars I only use 6. I also crush both the bars and crackers with my hands. My boyfriend and his friends call these knockout brownies!

Caramel Popcorn

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2005
I love this recipe! People couldn't stay away from it. It even beats my aunt's recipe, and that's hard to do! I like caramel popcorn that is absolutely soft and gooey and drenched in caramel so I made a little less popcorn and I only baked it for 15 minutes, but I'm not really sure it would need to be baked at all.

Bourbon Whiskey BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2005
We had a huge superbowl party and when I smothered this on the ribs, every guy at the party started to drool. I'll make this over and over! I was afraid there might have been too much liquid smoke, but I follwed the recipe and I'm glad I did. The sauce was magnificent!

Sausage Flowers

We had a huge superbowl party for fourty people. I made loads of food, and these were some of the first things to go. People absolutely adored them! The only thing I changed was using sharp cheddar cheese instead of monteray jack. Thanks Teresa!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2005
The taste is wonderful. As far as being soft, let me put it this way: I made a batch of cookies for my boyfriend and his friends. I packaged some of them up in plastic bags, and one of the bags ended up sliding under a seat in his car. Two weeks later one of his friends noticed the bag and pulled it out, and started eating the cookies. I was startled and told him how long the cookies had been there for. He handed one to me and to my suprise and great joy, they were still COMPLETELY soft! They hadn't dried out or hardened one bit! The most fabulous chocolate chip cookie recipe in this world.

Truely wonderful. I used panko (Asian bread crumbs) instead of normal bread crumbs, which made the recipe even better.

Pumpkin Cake III

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2005
Absolutely Unbelievable. Didn't make a single change. I used a cream cheese frosting recipie on this site, I believe it was cream cheese frosting II. Everyone loved the cake so much that I had to actually hide a piece or my boyfriend wouldn't have gotten any at all! I'd give this one 10 stars if I could.

Cherry Pie III

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2005
This is a great pie! For everyone who said there are not enough cherries in this recipe, you're completely right. However Beth also put up this exact same recipe with a few changes (1/8 cup less sugar, .5 tea more cornstarch), called Cherry Pie IV. That recipe calls for 2 POUNDS pie cherries, not 2 cups. If you transfer the cups to pounds, you'll have a perfect pie. Thanks Beth!
