Manhattan

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2011
A good Manhattan is one of my two favorite drinks. (The other is a dry Martini. ) I prefer a sour mash whiskey and mixed 2 to 1. But any favorite whiskey or bourbon will be just fine. But the most important step that no one has mentioned, is to chill the glasses in the freezer.

Amazingly Easy Irish Soda Bread

It doesn't get any easier. Great texture. I used butter and added raisins. I'm going to use this same batter for a batch of scones. Many thanks to the submitter.

Hot Fudge Sauce

I agree. This sauce has the perfect consistency. I ended up with a little graininess, but a stick blender smoothed it right out. A keeper.

The consistency of the dough was perfect. Best Spritz recipe that I've tried.
