Sylvia's Ribs

I made this with country style boneless ribs. I put them in the crockpot ontop of a layer of vidiala onions. When they were done I transfered them to a baking pan and spread "The Sauce" on both the bottom and tops and baked at 350 for 1/2 hour. Wonderful! I had cut "The Sauce" recipe in 1/2 and still had a ton left. A few days later I made a oven roasted brisket from Paula Deen and served the remaining sauce with it. Dh now will eat it no other way! Will definatly use "The Sauce" when ever we BBQ! Thanks for posting!

Smoked Sausage and Zucchini Saute

Very good! Dh would rather have his sausage fried with potatoes. But I will definatly make this again as a side dish with just the zucchini!

Cabbage Rolls II

I have been making these for a while and we really like them. I do add garlic and tad of mexican oregano to the meat, also cut back on the pepper. I usually double or triple the meat and make about 24 large rolls and freeze half. I always double the sauce for a single batch, this is a must! Edit on 3/2011; The meat mixture is very good in bell peppers also. I don't double the sause for them using 3 peppers cut in half, bake at 350 for 1 hour. I also always add at least 2 cloves of garlic and 1/2 tsp (abt) italian seasoning.

BLT Salad

We loved this salad! I cooked the bacon in the oven until crisp. For the dressing I used 3 cloves of garlic, which I minced first in the food processor before add the other ingred. Took the tip from TALCOTT and added 1 tsp. onion powder, 1 tsp oregano.

Stuffed Pork Chops I

Made these the other night. I am not a pork eater, but DH liked them. There was to much liquid so will cut back on it next time. Here are the changes I made. Used boneless sirlion chops, sauted 1/2c each celery and onion in 1/2 cup butter then added to 6 cups dried stuffing. Also added 2 cloves minced garlic and 1/2 tsp sage to stuffing along with poultry seasoning (1/2tsp). Used 2 cans cream of mushroom w/roasted garlic 1/3c water and 1/3 c sherry. Will probably cut it back to just the sherry w/soup and 1/4c broth w/stuffing. Thanks for the recipe!

Savory Crab Stuffed Mushrooms

I thought these were very good! They were a last minute add on to our anniv. dinner and I didn't have jack so I used cheddar. My husband like them, but asked that I leave the cheese out next time. So we will try with them with no cheese also. This is going in my favorites! Thanks!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares

Very Good! I did follow some other posters and added more graham crumbs (1 3/4c) and cut back on the butter (2tbs) for the topping. Also used used 1 1/2c milk chocolate chips. My husband says they are better than reese's! Thank you! Wanted to edit my review to add that I froze 1/2 of these and you could not tell the difference between the fresh and frozen! I cut them into 1 1/2 in squares wrapped individually in plastic wrap. And placed them a freezer bag.

Burger or Hot Dog Buns

Sirloin Steak with Garlic Butter

Li'l Cheddar Meat Loaves

I have been making this meatloaf for years. We all love it. I usually double the recipe and quick freeze the mini loaves for another meal. Thanks to other poster on the tip for decreasing the milk.
