Amazing Asparagus

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2010
My husbands family has been making "asparagus casserole" for years. Their version uses shredded american cheese, 1 1/2 cups crushed Club crackers, 1/2 cup of butter and no parmesan. It's my favorite holiday dish and I don't even like canned asparagus. Give it a try.

Mmm! These were yummy. Made to recipe using 3 bananas. Baked in a 9x13 pan for exactly 30 min. Wouldn't change a thing!

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2007
Wow is right! This pasta is incredible. I cooked Johnsonville Sweet Italian Sausage with the garlic, onion & chopped red, yellow & orange bell peppers. I used an entire pint of cream and fresh basil instead of parsley. Yummy and ever bit as good reheated!

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

Reviewed: May 9, 2006
I've made this several times using leftover grilled chicken breast. I shred and put into my crockpot and simmer on low for about 4 hours. I triple the amount of either red or white wine vinegar and lime juice, use splenda instead of sugar, and cilantro instead of oregano. I've even used the chicken for chicken taco salad. It's a very flavourful dish. Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe.

Chicken Fiesta Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2004
This salad is quick, easy and delicious! I've made it several times with chicken and last night with ground beef. We top with chopped avacado, black olives, shredded cheese and sour cream. It's definately one of our favorites.

Sweet and Sour Meatballs II

Reviewed: May 20, 2004
Don't let the 5 star rating fool you! After reading the reviews, I gave it a try. I decided to decrease the amount of onion to about 1/4 cup. Glad I did because the entire onion would have been WAY too much (and I love onions). I also decreased the amount of cider vinegar to 1/4 cup. Again, glad I did. Everyone in my house commented on the strong vinegar smell and my 3 year old refused to eat it because of the smell. As for the rest of us, we agreed that it's merely edible and by no means a 5 star recipe.

Marinated Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2004
WOW! This is by far the easiest and best shrimp recipe I've tried. I followed the recipe exact and marinated for about 2 hours. My husband cooked the shrimp over an open fire. What a wonderful flavor the marinated shrimp and oak fire created. It received the highest rating at my dinner table!!! I've added this to my "BEST" recipe list and am planning on serving at my next party. I don't think you could be disappointed with this one. Thanks Rachel for sharing this great recipe.
