Buttermilk Chocolate Cake with Fudge Icing

Really good and moist, but I doubled the frosting recipe after reading other comments. I definitely recommend doubling the frosting, it turned out perfect.

Megan's Granola

I was concerned that this was a little too dry before I baked it, so I added 1/2 cup of melted, unsalted butter. It turned out very we'll, with bigger clumps of granola, which we like.

Amish White Bread

I have made this for the last three Sundays, and find this to be very tasty and easy! The first time I did not have bread flour, and it was good. The second and third times I added some wheat gluten to AP flour and it was great. A tip for rising, heat a cup or two of water for two minutes on the microwave and leave the cup and water there with the bread dough to rise - it works perfectly. I also use my stand mixer with the dough hook, and this mixes up in minutes. Very quick and easy!

Flourless Chocolate Cake I

This was great! Much creamer than others I have had before. I used I Ghiradelli chocolate and served it with raspberry sauce. It was wonderful. I did not used a spring form pan, and had no trouble getting it out of my cake pan-just run a knife around the edges and set it in a pan of hot water for a few seconds. I do think that next time I will line the pan with silicone paper, as that will be much easier.

Irish Shepherd's Pie

Had to make some revisions as my market did not have Dubliner cheese or lamb. Used ground round and brick cheese, and used beef broth instead of just water. It was wonderful! Next time I will try another market and try half lamb and half beef.

Uptown Cowboy Caviar

Love this salsa! I too, improvise with whatever looks good, or that I have on hand. Decided to experiment, so tonight I made a triple batch and canned it. Had to make about 7x the dressing - which I know is too much, but wanted to be sure I had enough to fill each jar. It made 11 and 3/4 jars. All sealed but one - which I plan to open and eat as soon as it is chilled. Can't wait!
