Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2013
Wonderful salad, omitted the dried cranberries and used blackberry jam instead of raspberry. Still great.

Boudreaux's Zydeco Stomp Gumbo

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2013
amazing. but take time with the roux. and make sure not to stir with a plastic spoon or spatula... because you'll be stirring for a while and parts of the plastic may melt off into the roux. (not that that happened to us and we had to start over or anything...)

Mile High Green Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2012
absolutely wonderful... more time consuming than the recipe states though. but worth it! we have made this twice. the first time, used a bottle of ginger ale to make it gluten free. the second time, followed the recipe exactly. liked it MUCH MORE without the alcohol.

Red Beans and Rice

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2014
This recipe is a wonderful start! It definitely needs some spices... I added cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and cumin. That made it WONDERFUL. I also used Rotel instead of canned tomatoes and green peppers.

We doubled the recipe and made a few changes. The soup was wonderful! We didn't add sugar, added fresh basil, and added 8 cloves of garlic.

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2012
We liked this a lot. Tried it with steak, and then with pork chops. My husband and I agreed that it was better on the pork chops! We are still partial to the basic Montreal Steak Marinade for steak! ;)

not really edible. this may have been due to me not soaking the tempeh at the beginning.

Twelve Minute Pasta Toss

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2012
This was really good! It's not really a "leftovers" type of pasta unless you eat it cold, as it gets very dry!
