Tomato Curry Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2003
I wasn't too crazy about this recipe. I think the tomatoe soup really overpowers all the other flavors. Maybe next time I will use less tomatoe soup then called for. I couldn't even taste the fresh basil and curry.

Very Good!! I added a dash of olive oil, a dash of McCormick's Chicken Montreal seasoning, and some leftover "salsa verde" (cilantro, olive oil, lime, and salt blended) to the chicken & it came out DELISH!! Will def. keep. Thanx!!

Spinach and Tortellini Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2003
Very tasty and healthy!! I added 2 diced slices of honey glazed chicken slices, mushrooms, and fresh baby spinach. It tastes better cool then warm. Next time I will add more turkey pieces and plain croutons to give it some crunchiness.

Pesto Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2003
Very good. I think I didn't add enough basil and for some reason it just came out to oily. Will try again. Thanks

Cuban Beef Stew

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2003
Lovely Flavor. I used beef top round & cut them into 1-inch cubes, added fresh cilantro, 1 cup of diced canned tomatoes instead of tomatoe sauce, green pepper instead of red, 1 tablespoon of paprika, half a seeded & chopped jalapeno, a sprinkle of red pepper flakes, cayenne pepper, white pepper, and 1 cup of sherry instead of half. Came out DELISH!!! Thanks for sharing.

Marinated Beet Salad

Nice and refreshing. I put the mustard, sugar, and vinegar w/out boiling it (i forgot to do that part) & it still came out very nice. Very refreshing but not out of this world.

Candied Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2003
I loved the sauce although I'm not too sure about breading it, it turns out a little too slimy once it blends w/ the sauce. Overall, the chicken came out very juicy and tender. Great w/ rice and almondine string beans. Will def. make it again.

Peanut Butter Vegetable Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2003
Very nice!!! Instead of using canned chicken broth, I 1st sauteed onion & garlic w/ olive oil in pot, added water, 1 chicken bouillion cube, & 4 fresh chicken breasts. I also added 1/2 cup rice & 1 can of creamed corn. Next time I will add a can of spicy canned tomatoes. Def. a keeper, thanx for sharing!

I made this recipe last night. I found it very easy to make & my boyfriend practically ate the entire pan! I used oven ready-no boil lasagna, fresh spinach instead of frozen, alfredo sauce & marinara sauce,& organic mushrooms. Next time we are going to add chicken!! Thanks for sharing David.

My boyfriend made these and they came out perfect!!! They are very rich & having more then one feels like a sin. I just wish they had explained the method for pouring the crepes into the skillet. Enjoy!!!
