Excellent! Every one took a second serving (especially the kids!) I used Westchester sauce instead of steak sauce (only 1 tbsp) Thank you!

Plain and Simple Sourdough Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2008
Excellent! I usually use the machine just to make the dough. With this recipe I let the machine bake the bread as well. The result was the perfect sourdough! THANK YOU!

Panettone Bread Pudding with Spiced Orange Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2007
Very good and moist! I omitted the sugar and butter on top like the other reviewer suggested. I also substituted 2% milk for half of the heavy cream. I will put less sugar in the sauce next time. It tastes great with no sauce as well!

Chili Rellenos Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2007
I followed some other reviewers that added 1 egg , halved the cheese and omitted the regular milk. I also roasted fresh Anaheim peppers myself. I whipped the egg whites with a mixer and added the rest when they were stiff while whipping . I substituted Picante sauce for the tomato sauce. Poured half of the batter in the pan, layed half the peppers, half the cheese and then the rest of the peppers, batter and cheese. Turned out GREAT!!

Grandma's Apple Dumplings

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2006
Great taste, the orange juice is a wonderful addition! I wanted home made pastry so I made the pastry described in "Apple Dumplings II" and it was enough for 3 apples (12 quarters). I rolled it into a circle and cut it into triangles like you cut a cake. I used these triangles instead of the crescent rolls .

Pecan Tassies

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2005
Just what I was looking for. Came out just perfect and the filling exactly matched the dough. I substituted sour cream (light) for part of the cream cheese and used Demerara Cane Sugar instead of brown sugar. The kids loved to make the little balls and squeeze them into the tray. Thanks!!!

Just Perfect! I used the frozen raspberries and I heated them with the sugar powder for a few minutes. Heavenly!

Brown Rice Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2004
A great recipe! Instead of the rice you can use Bulgur (or Burgul-which is Toasted cracked soft white wheat) that was immersed in boiling water for 30 minutes or so (until softened).
