Tomato Soup Cake II

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2010
WONDERFUL and MOIST!!! I did take the advice of a couple reviews--Used regular flour, used 1/3 c.brown sugar with the cup of white, used my home made apple sauce instead of shortning, and swapped the soda and baking powder amounts. Have made it twice in 3 days and took one cake to work. They couldn't tell there was tomato soup in it and OH SO MOIST. I will for sure be baking this one again. Shypurple

Pumpkin Pie Squares

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2009
This was wonderful and really EASY. I used a 9x13 pan and was just enough crust. I wouldn't want more crust as it would overpower the pumpkin. I did add 1 1/2 t. pumpkin pie spice, along with the other spices. Just added a little more zing to it. Will make this again soon. Thanks

Potato Chips

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2009
WHAT a SUPRISE to try this and was TERRIFIC!!! I used parchment paper on large round plate and coated the paper with a small amount of oil. Placed paper thin potatoe slices on and then seasoned with Jonny's. I cooked them for 5 to 6 min. and WOW!! they were crisp and REALLLLY good. Have made them for several of my friends and they were suprised too, that they came out of a microwave. Can't wait to try this with sweet potatoes. THANK YOU for a GREAT recipe.

Low Sugar Strawberry Rhubarb Crunch

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2005
What a GREAT way to use Rhubarb and strawberry togeather. The tablespoon of honey was JUST RIGHT. Was a light, sweet-tart desert. Only thing that would of made it better would have been if I had ice cream to go on top. My husband loved it. Anything made with rhubarb, in our book, is good, and this is excelent.

Beef Bourguignon II

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2003
Wasn't to impressed with this recipie. Didn't use wine. Used the beef broth as another review suggested. It cooked up good and was just right on thickness when done, but didn't like the thyme in it. Perhaps to much of it. My boyfriend wanted to know what the weed in it was. Was much like plain beef stew. I added potatoes also. SHYPURPLE

Lemon Chiffon Pudding

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2003
This was an easy and very tasty desert. Very light. Wounderful lemon flavor and creamy smooth texture. If I would of had it out, I would have expected it to take a lot more time to make and be more complicated. Had all ingrediants on hand. Is good warm or cold. Thanks SHYPURPLE

Butter Snow Flakes

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2003
I made these for Valentines day with my heart shaped cookie press. They turned out great. I did add more cinnamon though. Guys at worked gobbled them down. I really enjoyed the orange zest in with the cinnamon. Will make again. Thanks SHYPURPLE
