If you don't use self rising flour they can not turn out fluffy!!!! Don't rate this recipe if you don't use the required ingredients!!!! This is an easy and fast working recipe. I never have self rising flour, can't get that over here so I use all purpose flour and a 1 1/4 teaspoon baking powder and 1/8 teaspoon of salt. This makes a great substitute for self rising flour, it's basically the same. I make those all the time, it only takes a few minutes to mix and I usually let it sit for just a few minutes until I'm done with my morning routines, by the time I'm done I just stir it one more time and start cooking. Everyone loves these pancakes with pear sirup or just plain maple and a little butter :)

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2012
it's in the slow cooker right now, I only needed about 5 minutes to prepare it all. I took the advise and added a little bit of water just to cover the botoom of the pot, and added some carrot and celery sticks, also put some melted butter on the turkey, it looks great and smells delicious, now we all are waiting for dinner to be ready. only about an hour left, gonna use some cream add that to make some gravy later. serve it with mashed potatoes and broccoli casserole. thanks for the recipe, will make this many times

Hazel's Meatballs

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2011
I tried this last night, it's easy to make and pretty fast. We did not like the sauce that much because it is kind of sweet, looking at the recipe again it's no wonder at all, sugar, ketchup all kind of sweet. But the meatballs came out great. Maybe next time I'll use regular tomatoes and less sugar. But it was worth trying.
