I have never made biscotti before so to find a perfect recipe to do it the first time was a blessing! I doubled the recipe; one with cranberry walnut with lemon and vanilla extract. The other was toffee almond with almond and vanilla extract. Both came out perfect except I had to bake the toffee almond 2 minutes longer probably because it was on the higher rack in the oven and the toffee was melted so it had trouble holding together. Same with the second baking time, only a minute more. I drizzled milk chocolate over both. Needless to say every single person I gave it to for Christmas raved about it. Thank you for sharing this recipe. It'll permanently be on my list of holiday cookies for years to come.
