Roasted Brussels Sprouts
I hate brussels sprouts, or at least I did. They were always bitter and chewy. My husband loves them and he also loves slightly burnt food so when I saw that the brussels should be roasted to brownish black I though it was perfect for him. However, I found these to be slightly crispy, creamy, and sweet. I wanted to eat them like popcorn. I love brussels now, thanks to this recipe. I added some garlic powder, but I probably would have been just as happy without.
