About this Cook
I am a mother of two ages 4&5. My husband and I try to cook very healthy for them making sure they get all the necessary nutrients. I have been cooking since 2004 and was horrible at it, I did get better at it every year but i would have to say the past 2-3yrs have been much much better. My husband would rather eat my dinner than going out to eat.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook pizzas, desserts, vegetables, breakfast bakes and soups. I love making soups, stews, and chilis!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love to cook but if I have my own recipe I do not measure things out so it is hard for me to put them down on paper.
My cooking triumphs
My son is allergic to corn so it is hard for me to find alternatives to cornstarch or other recipes that include something with corn involved. I just recently made an amazing chicken pot pie with my own homemade crust, my family loved it and it didnt come out of a the freezer!

Feta Cheese and Bacon Stuffed Breasts
This was an amazing recipe! Next time we have company over for dinner I will most def be making this! I did only make a small change, I cooked my bacon first and then stuffed it with the feta.

Shoyu Chicken
My husband and I loved this recipe. We used the cayenne and paprika. Was not too spicey! I served on a bed of brown rice and a side of asperagus! YUUUMMMMY!

Chicken Pot Pie IX
Great model recipe but I listened to others and doubled the sauce, made my own crust and used garlic instead of celery seed!
