Brown Rice, Broccoli, Cheese and Walnut Surprise

I prepared myself for a somewhat bland meal when I was making this, but it was not bland at all. I did use salt and pepper s stated but that was the only seasoning. the dish had good flavor in my opinion. I would make this again.

Cola Sauerkraut

I give this 3 stars only because as another reviewer mentioned the cola take the bite or "sourness" out of the kraut. That was a disappointment as I do like that aspect of sauerkraut. It did not taste bad though. I would recommend this recipe to anyone who does not like the sauer in sauerkraut. I probably won't make it again this way, but at least I can say I tried it.

Peanut Butter and Banana French Toast

Made these this morning for Sunday breakfast. A nice variation on French toast. I can see why some reviewers said it was a bit too sweet. Not over the top sweet though. I did add some cinnamon sugar to the egg mixture. Oh and I used some milk too.
