Bodega Bay Cioppino

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2015
I have tons of home canned tomatoes and was looking for a new way to use them. I used two quarts instead of the 56 oz the recipe called for. It left plenty of broth for dipping. This was delicious!!...we substituted the seafood our store had and used garlic infused olive oil...but made everything else as is. Served with warm crusty bread and lemon wedges to squeeze on top.

The Easiest Blackened Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2011
Ever since finding this recipe, I have had it dozens of times!!! I love pepper (and lots of it) on everything, but I found this amount to be a little too much. I cut the amount of pepper in half. My husband does not care for it because he doesn't like worcestershire sauce. I can't get enough of it! He is an OTR truck driver so I have it at least once every trip that he goes on. Simple, delicious and low fat!

Pecan Pie V

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2011
My husband's favorite dessert is pecan pie. I don't like it because of the corn syrup so I never make it. I came across this recipe and decided to try it since he always asks me to make one. He was hesitant because there was no corn syrup. He now prefers this one and pecan pie is one of my favorite desserts. The top is crisp and delicious, not chewy like those awful corn syrup ones. Great warm and topped with vanilla ice cream!!!!!

Blueberry Crisp II

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2011
Delicious!!!! We always have more blueberries than we know what to do with. I make this with fresh and frozen berries. I toss the frozen ones in a little flour so it doesn't get to runny. My husband was really skeptical about the mayonnaise, but like everyone else, he was pleasantly surprised.

Really Basic Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2011
If you love soft cookies then you have to try these. I added 1/2 a teaspoon of vanilla and it was so good. I also tried it substituting white sugar for the brown, but it turned out kind of grainy.
