I was looking for a good puch recipe and i just happened to find this one believe it or not i read all 756 reviews before i made it and the different ideas from the reviewers helped me, i made it on Saturday at lunch time and i froze it into 2 ziploc freezer bags as suggested i am from Canada so i had to do some conversion but it turned out superb it was nice and slushy and so divine, my guests totally loved it and my husband who never drinks punch drank 2 glasses, imagine that!! oh by the way, i used only 11/4 cups od sugar and it couldn't of turned out better.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2011
I just finished baking my first batch of these muffins, and they were very good, they raised very nicley and the crumb topping was lovely as well. I did not add vanilla as did some because any banana bread recipe i have seen never calls for it, i did use oil instead of marjarine and i put 1 cup of white flour and 1/2 cup of w.wheat flour and they turned out great, oh and in the topping i put 1/2 tsp. of apple pie spice i try to make each recipe my own!I would like to update: I have made this recipe several times and i would recemmend freezing the bananas whole, just chuck them in the freezer and thaw them out in the peel a while before you bake they look gross but they are excellent for this recipe, also for the topping i always use 2 tbsp of W.wheat flour and add a few chopped walnuts in it!! Enjoy!!!!

Fruit Ambrosia

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2011
The ambrosia that i make does not call for the condensed milk as that would make it too sweet, i think ambrosia should always be a nice light dessert, i always put in almost a whole bag of marshmellows that way its not too soupy and i let it set a few hours before i serve it, it always turns out perfect every time.

Hawaiian Dessert

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2011
I have a recipe almost identical to this one it takes a couple of more ingrediants its called hawaiian cake and i hade a hawaiian party last summer and i made 4 cakes put then together then put the topping on it it took two of us to carry it out, i decorated it with flowers then i put two pineapple tops on each end of the huge tray it sat on then i put little umbrella's on it, it fed 55 people. I had so much fun making it Before i put the cream cheese mixture on it, I cooked crushed pineapple and brown sugar and cornstarch, then i added a tsp of rum extact, let it cool then spread it on the cake before adding the next layer you must try this it really sets it off. One more note: i also put pineapple juice in with the crushed pineapple and cornstarch mixture. ALOHA!!

Soft, Moist and Gooey Cinnamon Buns

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2011
I found this recipe and gave it too my sister inlaw since she has a bread machine( i don't but that may change) she told me she tried them and they turned out really well she gave one to my best freind to try( I haven't tried them yet, but thet may chang as well) my friend said it tasted like a cheese danish even though no cheese was in them, she rated them a 10 out of 10!! I will betryingt them for sure, i think why they yasted like a danish is because of the pudding mix in them.

I just made this for the first time, it is so good! I would recemend either cuting the ground beef down to 1 lb or double the sauce recipe, i made it with 2 lbs ground beef and 1 found i needed 3 eggs instead of 2,and i used Pastene Italian bread crumbs, the meatballs were to die for, don't omit anything, it is good as it is written.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2012
I made this recipe for the first time last night, I let it simmer on low in my slow cooker for 15 hours[ I had 2 shoulder roasts] I poured in almost a while bottle of root beer and added 1 tbsp of liquid smoke. It was so tender that it shredded of the fork effortlessly, I then added a bottle of sweet onion chipotle bbq sauce, a tsp of worcestershire sauce, a tsp of liquid smoke and was i cooking!! I let it simmer on low for 2 hours to get the flavors blended, that is the secret of a good flovored pulled pork, is to let it simmer up all the flavors of the sauce. I had 8 in for supper last night and that was the first time they all tried it, my friend Libby after having tasted her first bite closed her eyes and said that was how i imagined it to taste, she said i think we are in the deep south! A great recipe, i reccomend everyone should at least try this recipe!!

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2012
I made these cookies yesterday for the first time, i did not refridgerate them because i didn't see the need for it, i just put a spoonful on the cookie sheet and pressed them down with my palm of my hand, i like mine a bit thicker and i put dried cranberries in them, they weren't over the top, i find no oatmeal cookie recipe that is flowing over with flavor but they were good and i will make them again.

Absolute Mexican Cornbread

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2012
I just made my first pan of these cornmeal muffins, the only thing i did different was cut the butter back to 2/3 cup and the same for the sugar, my friend Libby said you should use the full butter that is called for in any cornmeal recipe. These were great, my husband ate 4 peices while still warm, they were not greasy as alot of reviewers said, next time i will put the full cup of butter in, but i think 2/3 cup of sugar was sweet enough though, my husband can't eat anything too hot or spicy so instead of the chile peppers i put in a pinch of red pepper flakes. A great recipe, give it a try without cutting back on the butter too much!!

Beef Barley Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2012
I made this soup for the first time today.I made it with a tenderized steak which i browned first then cut in up into small bite size peices, i threw everything else into the slowcooker, i used a carton of beef broth plus 2 cans of consume, i put a little over 1/2 cup of pearl barley in 2 hours before it was done, i only had half a bag of frozen veggies left and i threw them in that was plenty enough, And for the taste it was wonderful!! I will be making this every couple of weeks or so!

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2012
I tried this recipe for supper last night, i didn't have a whole chicken to try this on but i had chicken breasts, so i couldn't do the onion thing but i put all the spices in except i cut the salt back to 3 tsp instead of 4, i used granulated garlic instead of powder( from costco) and i used smoked paprika( which is simply the best paprika) i put the full 2 tsp in. I sprinkled this all over the 3 breasts that i used, let them set for a bit and turned them over and put more on, i baked them at 350, for an hour then i brushed bbq sauce on them, believe it or not they were moist and tender, i thought they would be dry, but it was the tastiest chicken i ever made at home, i baked them for another 30 minutes after i put the bbq sauce on them. soon as i buy a whole chicken you bet i will do the whole chicken as written!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2012
I made this cake a couple of days ago, i invited our friends two sons over for supper the other night, and i served this for dessert it was very good and if you love chocolate then this is your cake! i followed it almost exactly except i cut back on the oil just a bit, if you want a nice moist cake i wouldn't cut the oil back by a huge amount, but certiantly somewhat for sure. I didn't have a bundt pan so i used a tube pan and it turned out great. I am not a huge chocolate lover but for all those of you who are try this recipe and don't change it at all except for cutting back on the oil some, you will love it, we all did!!

Ranch Dressing II

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2012
I made this dressing for the first time this morning before I went to work. I do not like mayonnaise whatsoever so I was sceptical about liking it, I put buttermilk in mine and slightly increased the garlic whisked it good and put it in the fridge, when I got home at lunch i put some on my salad, I can't say enough how awesome it was and I could not taste the mayo in it one bit. I totally love this dressing and its the only one I will make. I would reccomend letting it sit a few hours for the full flavor to take over. Everyone who loves ranch dressing should try this one, you won't be disappointed!!
