Butter Honey Wheat Bread

Very easy to make, everyone loved it! The only thing is that it sank in the middle. I used less yeast as another reviewer recommended, but it still sank. Still delicious and smelled great while baking!

Rolled Buttercream Fondant

the first time i made it i did add about a tablespoon of butter to it.., gave it more of a buttercream flavor. the recipe i have calls for 1/4 tsp lemon oil and 1/4 tsp orange oil instead of the butter and vanilla extracts, but you can use any flavoring the trick is rolling it out between vinyl sheets like the kind you get at a fabric store steve stellingwerf demoed this and he said it does break apart if rolled to thin..hope this helps

Cheese Herb Bread

Made this bread again. Absolutely delicious!! But again, it sunk in the middle. I did not open the bread machine and followed directions, but still it sunk. Any ideas why? My girls are picky eaters and they requested this bread again!

Golden Rum Cake

I know this recipe as Puerto Rican rum cake. I've made it lots of times and it's a winner. To me it needs more rum sauce but I make it as is. If you've ever had the Tortuga Rum Cake (YUMMY) I think it has less rum than that one. I've had Irish whiskey cake and to me that has a lot of liquor but oh so good! After I bake it I leave in pan poke holes and pour most of the sauce in the holes so it CAN BE ABSORBED IN THE CAKE. Once cooled I flip it onto plate and pour the rest on top. Delish Ps. I used butter instead of oil.

Brown Sugar Pound Cake I

I left out the pecans and added a dash of cinnamon. The cake came out very, very nice. When warm, my husband said it tastes like a pancake. It tasted very good, the brown sugar was subtle. I thought it needed a little something..maybe a little salt? I would definitely make this agian.

Butternut Squash Soup

This soup is fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very creamy and easy to make. I did not add the 16 ounces of cream cheese. I only added 4 ounces and it was still very creamy!!!! My 6 year old wanted seconds!!!! Definitely a keeper!

Sinfully Delicious Chocolate Pie

This was my change. I bought bittersweet instead of unsweetened. I couldn't remember what type of chocolate the recipe called for. Being that it was bittersweet chocolate I cut the sugar from 1.5 cups to just 1 cup. I used regular organic sugar and did not *extra fine* it. I beat each egg for 5 minutes. It was not gritty at all. My daughter calls this Chocolate Crack Pie. I had French Silk Pie from a cookbook I had years ago and it is still my favorite pie.

Banana Oatmeal Cookies II

YUMMY!!!!! I increased the banana to 1 cup. I only had 2.5 cups of oats and they still came out great! They did not spread too much, but they were delicious!!!

Buttermilk Pie III

very good!!! i had never had buttermilk pie before and decided to try this one. everyone loved it! I did increase the flour from 3 tsp. to 2 tablespoons and it set up wonderfully! I also covered the edges of the pie crust with foil before baking to prevent it from browning too much.
