Peanut Butter and Banana Dog Biscuits
Wonderful Treats! I didn't have wheat germ so I substituted rolled oats. Also- didn't use the egg wash because I like my treats looking rustic. These are not a crunchy biscuit- slightly on the soft side with some crunch. I will make these again and they smell wonderful and the dogs love them!

Pizza Dough I
A wonderful recipe for pizza crust. After stirring everything together, I found that this dough really needed to be kneaded, and would not have worked without this step. After kneading for about 10 minutes, I oiled the dough and put into an oiled bowl, then covered and let rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes. After stretching to fit on a cookie sheet ( this dough is NOT elastic like traditional piazza dough) I parbaked it at 350 for about 5 minutes. Then I added my toppings and set in the oven to bake. The consistency of the cooked dough has a slightly crisp surface and soft inside. It almost reminded me of foccacia. DELICIOUS.

Glazed Ham
This recipe made a wonderful glaze! I didn't have liquid smoke, so my ham was wonderfully sweet and caramelized, but I would have loved to taste it with the added smokiness. I used the original glaze recipe, but changed the approach. About 20-30 minutes before serving, I began to spoon the glaze over the ham in 5 minute increments, and did not cover it again. This created a nice caramelized color (its not burnt!- its CARAMELIZED!!) that I love to see in a ham, along with making a nice crunch on the outer layer of ham. It also kept the Ham extremely moist while it rested on the counter before cutting. I have added a hard copy of this recipe to my recipe box, where it will be used on many hams to come! Thanks!!
