Asparagus and Cashews

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2007
Awesome. I am not a fan of asparagus, but it always seems as if my husband is buying it and wanting me to serve it for dinner. I LOVE this recipe. The only change I made was to cut the asparagus into thirds...a little easiert to eat. I used the stated amount of oil, just used a slotted spoon to take the asparagus out of the pan and left the excess behind. I am going to serve this dish at my next dinner party and when everyone is raving about it, I am going to smile and take all the credit. Sandy...you are my new best friend...and girl, you can cook!

Grecian Skillet Rib Eyes

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2005
What a nice change from the usual grilled steak. None of the herbs were overpowering...just a hint of seasoning. I was surprised that the use of the lemon juice was not overpowering...but it wasn't. The feta cheese added the most... it was the wow! factor, what a nice blend of flavors. A very easy way to prepare steak that has flavor and keeps the meat tender. This one is going into the family cookbook. Thank You Fran.

Millie Pasquinelli's Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2005
We really liked this recipe. The chicken had a nice coating and was very moist. I liked that I had everything on hand and did not need to make a trip to the grocery for something special. I found this to be and easy recipe and I had no problems with it. We will enjoy this recipe again. Thanks Sue

Fantastic! I made this for my husband as rice pudding is his favorite...I don't care for it...but I must say I matched him spoon for spoon on this recipe. Who would have thought rice could taste so good? Thanks Bonnie!

Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp and Basil

Reviewed: May 12, 2003
What a wonderful dish to prepare for company! The flavors of the shrimp, tomatoes and basil compliment each other so nicely. This dish is also a treat for the eye as it is very colorful, and looks like it came off the cover of a cooking magazine. Thank you Pat for making me look like a gourmet chef.

Spring Strawberry Spinach Salad

Great salad. Easy to prepare and pleasing to the eye. I also added purple onion rings, adds to the texture and the taste is very harmonious with the other ingredients. I also took others advise to use half the oil...it was not missed. Thank you Mona.

Joy's Taco Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2003
Easy and good...doesn't get any better then that. I did use salsa instead of ketchup, and half sour cream and salad dressing. To lower the fat and calorie content I used fat free salad dressing, sour cream and tortilla chips. My family could not tell the difference and the salad still rocked!! Thank you, Joy.
