Asparagus and Cashews

Awesome. I am not a fan of asparagus, but it always seems as if my husband is buying it and wanting me to serve it for dinner. I LOVE this recipe. The only change I made was to cut the asparagus into thirds...a little easiert to eat. I used the stated amount of oil, just used a slotted spoon to take the asparagus out of the pan and left the excess behind. I am going to serve this dish at my next dinner party and when everyone is raving about it, I am going to smile and take all the credit. Sandy...you are my new best friend...and girl, you can cook!

Grecian Skillet Rib Eyes

What a nice change from the usual grilled steak. None of the herbs were overpowering...just a hint of seasoning. I was surprised that the use of the lemon juice was not overpowering...but it wasn't. The feta cheese added the most... it was the wow! factor, what a nice blend of flavors. A very easy way to prepare steak that has flavor and keeps the meat tender. This one is going into the family cookbook. Thank You Fran.

Millie Pasquinelli's Fried Chicken

We really liked this recipe. The chicken had a nice coating and was very moist. I liked that I had everything on hand and did not need to make a trip to the grocery for something special. I found this to be and easy recipe and I had no problems with it. We will enjoy this recipe again. Thanks Sue

Creamiest Rice Pudding

Fantastic! I made this for my husband as rice pudding is his favorite...I don't care for it...but I must say I matched him spoon for spoon on this recipe. Who would have thought rice could taste so good? Thanks Bonnie!

Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp and Basil

What a wonderful dish to prepare for company! The flavors of the shrimp, tomatoes and basil compliment each other so nicely. This dish is also a treat for the eye as it is very colorful, and looks like it came off the cover of a cooking magazine. Thank you Pat for making me look like a gourmet chef.

Baked Pork Chops I

Served it to family for dinner and got rave reviews. Grandchildren loved it. I will double the sauce next time as I served them with mashed potatoes and the sauce makes a very nice gravy. This is a keeper!! Thanks Dawn.

Spring Strawberry Spinach Salad

Great salad. Easy to prepare and pleasing to the eye. I also added purple onion rings, adds to the texture and the taste is very harmonious with the other ingredients. I also took others advise to use half the oil...it was not missed. Thank you Mona.

Open-Faced Omelet

Very good flavor, I especially liked the taste of the fresh basil. The presentation of the dish is very colorful and would be a nice dish to serve for company. I have added this omelet to my recipe box and will make again.

Joy's Taco Salad

Easy and good...doesn't get any better then that. I did use salsa instead of ketchup, and half sour cream and salad dressing. To lower the fat and calorie content I used fat free salad dressing, sour cream and tortilla chips. My family could not tell the difference and the salad still rocked!! Thank you, Joy.

My Best Clam Chowder

Garlic Sauteed Artichokes

I used this recipe to introduce artichokes to my family...they are now all fans of artichokes! I did steam them for 45 minutes and because we are fans of garlic I used the amount stated in the recipe. This one is a keeper!!!
