Favorite Old Fashioned Gingerbread

I have no idea if this is good, sounds like it is. This is in response to Chez about freezing for later use. I freeze cakes all the time. Bake it, let it cool, and I remove it from the original pan, wrap securely, then freeze and let defrost when needed. You probably could freeze it in the pan, I've just never tried it. Definitely bake it before you freeze!

Apple Squares

I had high hopes for these. I followed the reviews, doubled for a 9x13 pan, reduced sugar, added more apples, didn't double the topping. It smelled wonderful but it was very dry. I don't think I baked it too long because I thought the batter seemed dryish when I was spreading it in the pan. My son-in-law thought they were great, and they did taste okay, but the texture was dry and crumbly. Will not make again.

Loved all the ingredients but it was way too much vinegar for us; if I try it again I definitely would reduce vinegar amount

Brennan's Irish Soda Bread

I made this bread with less milk because it was so wet. Still incredibly sticky. I made two loaves and, after baking for 30 minutes (and it was nice and brown)

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

I have made these for several years. Ingredients are the same but I use muffin papers in the mini muffin cups, then when the chocolate has begun melting, I drop sprinkles on top. Use red, green and white for Christmas.
