Habanero Pepper Jelly

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2013
Good recipe. I cut it in half just since I haven't made it before and it yielded three 1/2 pint jars. I tasted it right after I made it and it was good. So far it hasn't cooled enough for me to be able to tell if it set up but if it didn't it was just an error on my part during cooking. I really like hot jellies with salmon and cream cheese on toast and this one will be great that way. I left some of the seeds in because I like really hot stuff and for me it could use a little more heat but for my family it should be just right.

Habanero Hot Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2012
I didn't seed the habaneros and it turned out pretty hot but kind of fruity and sweet. Overall, the flavor is good, I am curious how it tastes with a little less heat. I boiled it a little longer because I wanted a paste more than a sauce. Initially I was looking for something like you find in the stores in the bottle and this is not it, more flavor and sweetness. In saying that, I think this will be pretty good as a condiment on some foods you would like to add some heat to, maybe something with chicken or pork.

Spicy Chicken and Spelt Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2014
This is a great all inclusive recipe. Really this has all you need for a complete meal. I recommend an app. or edamame (just buy the stuff you can steam!) and you will have a nice, healthy Asian-ish meal.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2012
These are some of the best chocolate chip cookies I have made. I use bittersweet chocolate chips and use about 3/4 cup of sugar (more brown than white). I'm not a big sweets person, so it helps to cut the sugar. Don't be afraid to make the big!

Absolutely the BEST Rich and Creamy Blue Cheese Dressing Ever!

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2012
This is a good recipe for blue cheese dressing. The next day it will be a little runny, probably because people dipped wet vegis in it but it is still very good.
