About this Cook
I am a stay-at-home mom. I love to try new things in the kitchen, my husband and kids are my guinea pigs!
My favorite things to cook
My favorite thing is baking, but I make a mean lasagna, chicken parmesean, wedding soup, actually anything Italian, and I make GREAT cocktails!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My grandma is a great cook, and I loved spending time with her in the kitchen as a kid, that is how I learned, and now I try to share the same experiences with my family.
My cooking triumphs
I made a meal including cocktails, appetizers and dessert for my in-laws on about 1 hours notice, it turned out great.
My cooking tragedies
Too many to mention, but my philosophy is try, try again, I haven't made anyone sick yet. I have learned that I cannot make a good sauerbraten, and I have left beer making to the experts!

Perfect recipe, I didn't need to change a thing. I filled these with raspberry and strawberry preserves, and lemon marmalade, absolutely delicious.

Peach Cobbler IV
I was raised on this recipe, and you can substitute just about any fruit for the peaches from blueberries, strawberries, cherries, to black raspberries, also if you don't have self rising flour, just use regular flour, and add a pinch of salt and a tsp. of baking powder. We have also made this with brown sugar, if you like more of a caramel taste, either way it's yummy!

Salisbury Steak
It's pretty good, just like a blue plate special at a diner, you should omit the salt with the ground beef though, the French onion soup is salty enough.
