Banana Banana Bread

This is the best banana bread recipe ever. I didn't have any brown sugar so I used white sugar. Since I like my banana bread a on the sweet side I used 1 1/4 cup of white sugar. It is was perfect. Love and will use it in my family for ever.

Pull-Apart Hot Cross Buns

These rolls have an excellent texture and stay moist and soft for days. However, I changed the recipe a bit by using 1 1/2 cups of raisins instead of the cherries and cranberries. I also used 1 cup of sugar and 1 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and 1/2 of cloves and forego the icing on top.

Vegan Chocolate Cake

This is the most moist vegan chocolate cake I have ever had. I loved it. However, the next time, I will add some chocolate chips or a little extra sugar to make it a bit sweeter. I am not a fan of icing so I like me cake a bit sweeter. But as a whole this is a wonderful, healthy cake and I cannot believe it isn't make with eggs and butter. I will definately make this again and again. Thank you so much.

Honey Oatmeal Bread II

This is ta good honey and oatmeal bread I have made. The dough is like every saids very sticky and I didn't feel my bread rised as high as I liked, but it was delicious. Also, our family loves our bread very sweet, so I had to add about 1/4 - 1/2 cup of white sugar. I will definately make this bread again, Oh, I used regular flour instead of the bread flour and it was still great. I don't know if it is because I used regular flour or not, but my bread tends to go really dry after a day.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

This is the same recipe I grew up with as a child. I use 2 Tblsp of sugar because I like my pancakes on the sweet side. I have also used various extracts for different flavoring and I have used cinnamon and nutmeg in my pancakes at Christmas time. You can also use buttermilk instead of regular milk. I love this recipe and I handed it down to my children.

Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

It really is a very quick and easy pizza crust and it is good too. I will try adding different ingredients to twick the recipe a bit, but all in all it is very good, quick and easy.

Simple Whole Wheat Bread

Like everyone else. I found the recipe to be excellent. I like my bread a bit more a on the sweet side so I added about 1/4 cup of white sugar. However, the recipe is excellent just like it is. It is a very easy recipe as well. Very simple.

Spool Sugar Cookies

I have been looking for a nice, sweet (but not too sweet), melt in your mouth sugar cookie for years. My boyfried loves sugar cookies, but I could never find just the right one until now. This is the perfect sugar cookie, even if you over bake it just a little, the cookie is crisp, but not hard. It still melts in your mouth. The only thing I changed was I used almond extract instead of vanilla. I didn't bake all the dough. I made the rest into balls and stored them in the fridge so my boyfriend can have fresh cookies throughout the week. Love these cookies. These will definately be added to the family cookbook.

Pam's Brown Sugar Meatloaf

This must be the same recipe as Starbuck's. It is an excellent recipe. The only difference I made was I changed the 1/2 cup of brown sugar to a 1/4 cup of brown sugar. I found it a bit too sweet with 1/2 cup.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

This is an excellent recipe. I followed the recipe except I used a 1/4 cup of brown sugar instead of the 1/2 cup. It was still a bit on the sweet side, but excellent. I've never thought of doing a meatloaf this way. My family loved and I will definately cook it again, real soon.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Not like the person below, I didn't find this recipe bland. It is great. I also put almond and vanilla with the recipe. This recipe reminds me of the one my grandmother used to use. Love it and it is now my favorite sugar cookie recipe.

Barbara's Golden Pound Cake

I have been looking for a really nice, moist pound cake for some time. During the holidays here in Bermuda, pound cake is very traditional, so I really needed to find a good recipe. This one is wonderful. The only difference I made was I added 1 tsp of orange extract and about 1 tbls of orange peel. It was so good, the icing wasn't even needed.

Spanish Rice II

This is the best and easiest Spanish rice recipe that I have ever made. It is excellent. My family loves is so much that I make it as least twice a month. It is has become part of our traditional Sunday meals. I also subsituted 1 cup of water for 1 cup of chicken broth. I this this recipe is great. Thank you Dave.

Moist Carrot Cake

I have made the cake so many times since I found it. My family loves it. My boyfriend takes it to work on the construction site and the guys just love it. I can never have enough in the house. It is so good you don't even have to use the cream cheese topping. I think the next time I make it, I will cut the oil back by 1/4 cup to see how it comes out. Even though this recipe is excellent, I do find a bit oily.
