Fruity Fun Skewers

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2012
I make these all the time, add a drizzle of melted dark chocolate to really jazz them up. Just line up the fruit skewers close together on a piece of wax paper, and dip a fork in the melted chocolate, then swing it back and forth over the skewers.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2011
Very good but felt it needed something, will try adding some garlic and fresh herbs to the sauce next time. I spread Dijon mustard on the chicken before adding the ham and cheese and rolling up. Used kitchen twine in place of toothpicks. It really is best cooked in wine for depth of flavor, highly recommend not to substitute. May try subbing out half & half for the heavy cream next time.

Crispy Orange Beef

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2006
Good recipe, just cut back the ginger to 1 Tbsp if you're using jarred dried ginger; the 3 Tbsp called for in the recipe is for FRESH grated ginger.

Thirty Day Friendship Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2004
My hairdresser was telling me about a Friendship cake that used lots of fruit, so I searched Allrecipes and found this recipe that sounded like his. I made the starter-not difficult, just time-consuming- and used it to make this cake. It was very moist and rich in flavor, even friends who professed to hating fruitcake enjoyed this cake. I have the leftover starter in my freezer, and will be making this cake again and again.

Classy Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2003
The combination of flavors is excellent, even my finicky husband loves this chicken dish! I double the quantity of sun-dried tomatoes (be sure to let them plump up completely first) and use regular sour cream. This dish is so yummy I make it often for my family.
