Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2014
FANTASTIC! ...and oh man, the aroma is mouth-watering! Made this for my father for Father's Day, he proclaimed this one of the best ever sandwiches! I did use most of the suggestions by the reviewer 'MomSavedbyGrace'. The end result was a moist Italian Beef that tasted restaurant gourmet! Thank you, thank you =)

Squash-Apple Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2011
Recipe was Perfect! The only problem I had was there were no leftovers!! I substituted Nutmeg for Mace. For the people complaining about this recipe not turning out right, maybe it has to do with your butter??? I used Land 'o Lakes butter sticks as I do with all my baking, consistancy was fine.

Banana and Strawberry Smoothie

I agree, this recipe has had some undue roughness applied. This is a simple, tasty base for a smoothie. My 7 and 3 year old LOVED it! Thanks for sharing =)

I used a can of diced Italian seasoned tomatoes instead of regular. Recipe was EASY and really tasty! Would be good served over pasta and with parmasean cheese.

Grilled Asian Chicken

MMM YUM! My only changes I was out of soy sauce (for the first time in my life, lol) so I substituted Kikoman's Teriyaki Sauce, used powder ginger, small diced garlice and let my chicken marinate for a good hour. Excellent marinade! Thanks!!

Zucchini Herb Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2008
I never thought I would say this, but, "way too much cheese!" I used 1.5 cups and think it still could be cut back. Nontheless, I love cheese and I loved this recipe! Will be making again!

Japanese-Style Sesame Green Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2008
Great flavor even after I got carried away and some of the beans "blackened", those seemed to get eaten the fastest. Added some minced garlic and a little extra soy sauce, just for our taste.

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

Yummy and easy. Only change I will make next time is adding more 'shrooms - we love mushrooms in this house! As suggested, I used a full can of chicken broth.

Chicken Enchiladas V

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2006
This tasted great! As usual, I was short on time and used canned white meat chunk chicken and instead of a can of green chiles I used about 3/4 of a can of drained Rotel.

Army SOS Creamed Ground Beef

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2006
Maybe if you do the sauteed suggestions (which I did not) this dish would be tasty. My family thought this recipe was very, very bland.

Easy Chicken Tetrazzini

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2006
Fast and yummy! I was in a hurry and used 2 large cans of Hormel White Chunk Chicken instead of chicken breasts and also, I did make an addition doing the onion, garlic and mushroom sauteed in butter and poured the mixture over the chicken, before adding the soup (as suggested). I believe this added good flavor to the dish, which would otherwise be a tad bland. This recipe makes a ton of food and is great leftover! Thanks for an easy meal!

Comforting Cube Steaks

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2006
This is a great recipe to use for making really tender cubed steaks. I added fresh white mushrooms. The flavor was quite good (especially when you pour the sauce over mashed potatoes), but I had to give it 4 stars only because I personally prefer a rich brown gravy sauce over my cubed steaks. Will definately make again as there were no complaints from the family.

Quick Cassoulet

As suggested, I did not drain my tomatoes and used Great Northern Beans since I had no canellini's on hand. Great, hearty recipe.

Flavorful Beef Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2005
Yummy, but with some changes. I had no pea pods and forgot to add the broccoli, but instead I added celery and threw in some Shitake mushrooms while cooking the meat, which gave the dish unbelievable added flavor. Also, I added plenty of ground ginger, ground mustard, garlic, dash of red pepper, green onions and some sesame oil. With all of my additions my family found this dish to be great!

Restaurant-Style Taco Meat Seasoning

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2005
This recipe makes great taco meat. I did not have the corn flour and made no substition. I did not have the beef granuals, but instead I mixed the water and 1 bouillon cube along with all the other seasonings then added the mixture to the beef. I will definately make this again.
