Raspberry Truffle Fudge

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2003
This fudge is easy and delicious. I would recommend making it a few days in advance because the flavor improves immensely as it ages.

Crescent Pastry Puff

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2003
This was FABULOUS! Not only did it taste wonderful, it looked beautiful too! The only change I made was to add a little bit more of the cinnamon sugar mixture in with the apples. This will become a frequently made item in my household...thanks Heidi!

Made this for Thanksgiving and it was a huge success. Only change was that I forgot to add the onion. Thanks Jamie for a great salad!

Grilled Chicken Breasts with Zesty Peanut Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2004
I didn't make the sauce because the ingredients were not on hand, but the marinade was phenomenal. The chicken came out very tender and juicy and with a great flavor. I added more garlic and a little more cayenne, marinaded about 6 hours...YUM!

Chicken Vicious

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2004
I made a few changes to the basic recipe. I used LOTS of real garlic and added water chestnuts and broccoli. The only complaint is that it made too much sauce and I will decrease it next time. The heat is just right and the flavor is great!

Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2004
Good...actually better than I expected. I thought that this would taste really "ranchy" but the flavors blend nicely together. Picky husband asked for it to be on the regular rotation!

Zucchini Bread VII

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2010
Excellent recipe. Like other reviewers recommended I subbed applesauce for half the oil and I also added 1 tsp of cinnamon. No walnuts due to personal preferences. Freezes great. Thanks for the recipe!

Pan-Fried Asparagus

Reviewed: May 7, 2004
Excellent! This recipe has made asparagus a staple in our household! Only thing I changed is that I didn't have coarse salt so I used regular table salt. Kim this is one of the best recipes I have made from this site!!

Chocolate Pretzels

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2009
Made these twice over the Christmas season. Big hit. Made them with both Kisses and Hugs (I think the Hugs taste better) but the Hugs melt quicker than the kisses. Used regular sized M&Ms and waffle pretzels.

Yummy! Excellent! Just what I was looking for. I used 1 pound of beef, 1 can of beans and half of the taco sauce. I used the full amount of tomatoes and added a packet of taco seasoning! Great when I made it and great the next day too!!! Thanks!

Pork Chops with Raspberry Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2004
I used medallions from a pork tenderloin and seasoned them with salt and pepper only. The raspberry sauce was excellent!!! I doubled the sauce and barely had enough. My father-in-law raved over it. Thanks for the recipe!

Garlic Green Beans

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2004
I made these for Christmas dinner and they were a huge hit. I used two bags of frozen green beans which I thawed first. I also used grated Romano instead of Parmesan. Great for dinner and great for leftovers! Thanks for the recipe!!

Aunt Cora's World's Greatest Cookies

Reviewed: May 31, 2006
These should be known as Aunt Cora's World's Most Beautiful Cookies! They came out looking like they belonged in a magazine! I used butter instead of margarine and an extra dollop of peanut butter, otherwise followed exactly. I had no problems with spreading of the cookies, they retained their shape beautifully. I couldn't keep my husband out of the dough as I was trying to make these! Great tasting both the right after baking and the days after. Thanks for a great cookie!!

Artichoke Spinach Lasagna

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2006
This was a hit! I made the following changes: I left out the onion due to taste preferences of one of my dinner guests. I also used approximately half of the can of vegetable broth. I added basil/grlic flavored tomato paste to the sauce and simmered for approx 15-20 minutes. I pre-cooked the noodles and did not have any problems with them. I also added parmesan to the layers of mozzarella. My dinner guests raved and in fact one of them who is a professed non-veggie eater went home with the recipe and leftovers! Thanks for a great recipe!

Rhubarb Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2005
This is an incredible cheesecake. I found that I did need to cook it longer in my oven, but otherwise did not change a thing. The crust was great! The sour cream topping is a must!!! When cooking I did place my springform pan on a foil covered cookie sheet, which I highly recommend because some of the rhubarb "juice" will cook out. Thank you so much for my new favorite rhubarb recipe.
