Excellent recipe!!! I can't wait to try this sauce on other vegetables. Will definitely make this again and again and again. Thanks Salsiepie for a fabulous recipe!

Fudgy Cream Cheese Tunnel Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2005
Delicious! The only change I made was to substitute water for the coffee. Turned out great.

Rhubarb Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2005
This is an incredible cheesecake. I found that I did need to cook it longer in my oven, but otherwise did not change a thing. The crust was great! The sour cream topping is a must!!! When cooking I did place my springform pan on a foil covered cookie sheet, which I highly recommend because some of the rhubarb "juice" will cook out. Thank you so much for my new favorite rhubarb recipe.

Chicken Monterey

Reviewed: May 1, 2005
I did not coat the chicken with flour, but rather seasoned with salt and pepper only. Came out nicely. My husband who usually turns his nose up at dishes make with "glop" went back for seconds!! Thanks for the recipe.

Becky's Oatmeal Carmelitas

Reviewed: May 1, 2005
I thought that the crust in this recipe tasted a little too "floury" or "oaty," but everyone else raved over it. I will make this again, but will probably make some adjustments in the crust/topping mix.

Cherry Fluff

Okay. Very rich. Tastes familiar, like something we've all had before...sort of like a deli salad. Nothing extraordinary, but very easy to prepare.

Sour Cream Chicken and Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2005
OK tasting dish, but a lot of busy work. Not something I would make daily. I made this without the green peppers (personal taste) and cut up chicken breasts into chunks because its what I had on hand. I added a third potato and extra garlic. I also added a little salt to potatoes and chicken. Overall decent meal.

Apple Walnut Salad with Cranberry Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2004
I left out the onion as suggested by previous reviewers. I also had to add quite a bit more sugar to cut back on a very strong vinegar taste. After the adjustments it was quite good, especially with the toasted walnuts.

Flank Steak Pinwheels

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2004
I made this for Christmas dinner and my family raved over it. I pounded the steaks a little thinner than instructed, probably about 1/4 inch. Also I took the leftover marinade, boiled it and then thickened it into a gravy. I doubled the recipe there still were no leftovers. My husband said that it tasted like a gourmet restaurant. Thank you for such a wonderful recipe!

Garlic Green Beans

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2004
I made these for Christmas dinner and they were a huge hit. I used two bags of frozen green beans which I thawed first. I also used grated Romano instead of Parmesan. Great for dinner and great for leftovers! Thanks for the recipe!!

Pork Chops with Raspberry Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2004
I used medallions from a pork tenderloin and seasoned them with salt and pepper only. The raspberry sauce was excellent!!! I doubled the sauce and barely had enough. My father-in-law raved over it. Thanks for the recipe!

Herb Rubbed Sirloin Tip Roast

very good flavor. I will try again in the crockpot as I overcooked it a little in the oven and slow cookers are more forgiving. Whole family enjoyed the flavor. thanks!

Burrito Pie

Yummy! Excellent! Just what I was looking for. I used 1 pound of beef, 1 can of beans and half of the taco sauce. I used the full amount of tomatoes and added a packet of taco seasoning! Great when I made it and great the next day too!!! Thanks!

Caramel Peanut Fudge

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2004
This is quite tasty. I made it without nuts because of my company, but I think it needs the salty kick. Be sure to keep it refrigerated because it melts if kept at room temp too long!

Pan-Fried Asparagus

Reviewed: May 7, 2004
Excellent! This recipe has made asparagus a staple in our household! Only thing I changed is that I didn't have coarse salt so I used regular table salt. Kim this is one of the best recipes I have made from this site!!

Delicioius. I often use chicken broth in place of the boullion cubes for speed and simplicity. I make this often.

This was only okay. I added a lot more cheese to the recipe than called for. Overall fine, but definitely not spectacular.

Broiled Herb Butter Chicken

This was very bland!!! On the postive side, it was a very moist chicken breast, but just lacked flavor. I don't think I will make this again.

Anniversary Chicken I

Good...actually better than I expected. I thought that this would taste really "ranchy" but the flavors blend nicely together. Picky husband asked for it to be on the regular rotation!
