Jif® Peanut Butter Blossoms

Curried Chicken

Followed advice of divajend and used chicken breasts cut into bite size chunks, seasoned with paprika, salt and pepper. Sauteed onion/apple with 1 TBSP curry powder. Added chicken cooked until brown and then soup/milk. Wound up adding an additional TBSP of curry powder for taste. Hubby liked and would eat again.

Disney's Ratatouille

This was amazing! Made as a veggie side for a steak dinner. Smells heavenly while it is baking. Does not need the marscapone. Just some crusty bread. Will definitely make again when the Farmer's Market is up and running. Used basil, garlic, oregano tomato paste and eyeballed the fresh garlic (still used quite a bit). Dried thyme but otherwise followed as written.

Cheesy Chicken Meatballs

I would give these 3.5. I thought they were pretty good as did my son. My husband not so much. Based on other reviews I used only 1 egg, 2 TBSP of bread crumbs, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp of salt and pepper, 1/2 tsp of oregano, 1/4 tsp of basil and a heaping 1/4 tsp of the crushed red pepper. I used 2 spoons to drop them onto the pan like cookie dough. Ate with a variety of sauces but think I will try them with pizza sauce and maybe some melted cheese next time.

Jimmy Dean Breakfast Casserole

Made 1/2 recipe but used 6 eggs and leftover buns for the bread. Also used leftover roast beef instead of sausage and whatever veggies we had in the house. Good way to use up leftovers. Will make again.

Robbi's M&M Cookies

Thanks to the other reviewers. Based on recommendations I made these with 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup butter flavored shortening and then chilled for about an hour before baking. Mine took about 12 minutes. Chewy and beautiful. Friends that I made them for raved and said they were like store bought!

Blueberry Cream Muffins

Was looking for a muffin recipe using ingredients I have on hand. These turned out great. Used frozen berries. My son used the same base to make chocolate chip muffins too (the blueberry were better!)

Garlic Aioli

This was fantastic. Made exactly as written with bottled lemon juice about 3 hours before eating. Used with chicken sliders on pretzel buns (plus feta on mine..yum). Was an amazing addition and so easy!!

Asian Coleslaw

AMAZING!!! I omitted the red cabbage due to personal tastes. For the dressing I did not add any oil and used a smidge of ginger powder instead of fresh and the dressing was fantastic. Added chopped peanuts on top for some crunch. Will definitely make again...probably will add some grilled chicken to this for a main dish.

Best Ever Caramel Apple Crisp

This was AMAZING! I followed suggestions of other reviewers and made in a 9 x 13 pan. I also put the caramel sauce on top of the apples with the crumble over it. Came out great. I will probably add another apple when I make it again.

Emily's Chipotle Chili

This was only OK. I had some leftover chipotles in adobo sauce and was looking for a recipe to use them up. I added extra chipotle and the finished product still wasn't very hot. It's an average chili but nothing special.

Grilled Vegetables with Balsamic Vinegar

Was unable to use grill tonight so followed other reviewers suggestion and roasted at 425 for about 7 minutes per side. Flavor was good. Will try again on the grill. I might consider skipping the salt and pepper in the marinade and just seasoning the veggies before cooking as well.

Chicken Souvlaki with Tzatziki Sauce

I used 1 pound of chicken tenders and reduced the amount of olive oil in the marinade to 3Tbsp, added an extra clove of garlic but kept the other ingredients the same. Marinated chicken for about 3 hours. Cooked on the George Foreman and it was very moist and tender. I only added a dash of olive oil to the tzatziki instead of the full tablespoon and squeezed out the excess liquid from the cucumber before adding to the sauce. Served with Grilled Vegetables with Balsamic Vinegar also from this site. Great meal!

Chilled Lemonade Dessert

Delicious!! Made this for Easter to rave reviews. I filled the center of the ring mold with fresh strawberries which were a beautiful compliment to the lemon flavor of the dish. Will definitely make again.

Garlic-Lemon Double Stuffed Chicken

I did have to make some modifications due to what I had on hand. Basically omitted the breading, but otherwise followed fairly close. I didn't really get much of the lemon or garlic flavor. Just OK. Didn't like it enough to try again with the breading.

Chewy Brownie Cookies

Delicious! I have been searching for a chewy chocolate cookie and this does the trick! Stays chewy for several days. Good flavor. Will definitely make again, maybe playing with different chip flavors.
