Marshmallow Fondant

Tried this recipe for the first time today. I've always been afraid of doing this but decided to just go for it-- and it's perfect! I've never had fondant before, so for me it's really, really sweet, but the texture is amazing... really soft and puffy, not at all sticky, wonderful to work with. I can't wait to use it tomorrow for the cake I'm baking with my friends :).

Awesome Chicken Noodle Soup

I loved this recipe. I had to make some changes because I didn't have some of the ingredients (lemon grass), but it turned out really, really good. I first boiled the chicken with the onion, celery and carrot (diced) along with the bay leaf. After, I cut the chicken into bite sized pieces and put the celery, carrot and onion in a blender with some of the broth. I put that back into the broth with the diced chicken, added some salt, a few celery leaves, and noodles. Perfect!!

Jenny's Grilled Chicken Breasts

These are just wonderful, and super easy! I added a little bit of white wine to the lemon juice (that I halved), a little bit of chopped garlic to the chicken breast before hand, and dry parsley, oregano, black pepper and salt for seasoning. It tastes out of this world!!

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

I gave these cookies a try the other day and loved them! I added 1 Tb orange juice instead of water, like a lot of people did, and the flavor is spot on. I had to use syrup instead of molasses because I can't find it where I live, but they were still amazing. They DO stay soft!

Quinoa Side Dish

I really loved this recipe! I'd eaten quinoa before but I wanted to change it up a bit- this looked really good. I rinsed the quinoa before cooking, and added the onions with the quinoa until brown. Then I added the garlic, and I added water because I didn't have any broth available. I also omitted the thyme because I didn't have any, but it was still delicious! At the end I grated 2 garlic cloves and added it when it was done cooking, plus the lemon juice. It was AMAZING!
