My favorite things to cook
Anything yummy and stove-top. I don't really like baking because it is SO hard to fix things if you mess up! I like to follow recipes but tweak them a bit. I also like to be independent.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom always loves to cook. She doesn't have any recipes to call her own but that's ok. My grandmother's have some of the best recipes I know! I hope I can be as good as them :D
My cooking triumphs
I made a dish with scallops, something I wasn't comfortable with. It turned out great, except that I was the only one who didn't like it. Too fishy :P
My cooking tragedies
While making brownie cookies, I had no idea how to tell when they were done. When I finally removed them, it was too late. I hurt my tooth biting into them. :/

Basic Crepes
I would personally take the butter out of the recipe since it's already used to fry the crepes. when it's refrigerated, the butter hardens into little clumps

Sweet and Sour Sauce I
very delicious! I would definitely recommend this! the only weird thing is that when stored in the fridge, it gets very thick. it's good but just use it up right away!

Super Al's Cocktail Sauce
It was a good tasting sauce, but it DEFINITELY needed more ketchup. I would do at least 3/4 cup ketchup. Also, when i stored it in the fridge, it turned into a jell-o-like substance. very weird. the brown sugar maybe? sorry, but i won't be making this again
