Bacon Cheeseburger Upside Down Pizza

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2002
it was easy, i had all the ingriediants in my pantry and fridge and hubby absolutely loves it. He brags about it at work. I use either my homemade pizza sauce i found on this site or just whatever extra is in the fridge from spaghetti night. Great husband pleasing recipe, so i bet kids love it too.

my husband liked it even without meat. i found that using half the spinach was quite enough. i add just a bit of sugar to the sauce too.

Never Bitter Lemonade

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2004
this was the first recipe i found and the only one i'll use! when using fresh garden lemons use less sugar, and when using bottled lemon juice or store bought lemons use the regular amount. makes absolutely fabulous tasting lemonade.

Pumpkin Crunch Cake

My friend made this for thanksgiving and i finally found the recipe! SOOOO good with walnuts! A good use for leftover pumpkin! If you serve this when people are over they will demolish it after some coaxing.

good cookies. i used margarine instead of shortening. I also used colored sugar, this recipe was even better than ones i've used with more ingredients. Very easy, very yummy.

Carne Asada Marinade

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2003
only thing i changed was i added onion salt instead of regular and chilli powder(of medium spice), i cut up 2 lbs carne asada into thin strips and marinaded for 5 hours. I then drained off most of the marinade and browned the meat in a skillet over med heat and used them in burritos. Very tender. I loved this recipe and so did my hubby. I will make this again.

Cranberry Sauce Chicken I

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2003
I made this with huge bone in chicken legs, 3 of them. All else the same. A keeper. I used Aunt Betty's french dressing recipe i found off this site. I baked them at the recommended heat for 1 1/2 to 1 hour 45 mins till juices ran clear when cut into the thickest part. Good flavor and helped get hubby to eat cheap cuts of chicken!

Noodles Napoli

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2003
time consuming, but worth it. My husband drools over this stuff, i leave out the pimentos. I dunno what that other person meant, this recipe is not bland but VERY rich. I have served it to guests and they loved it. Although it makes your home smell like onion and that can be bothersome if you just cleaned.

Cheese and Broccoli Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2003
i used chedder cheese and processed chedder cheeses. I added onion and potatoes. Unlike what someone else said the flour mixture wasnt a prob for me, i simply whisked the soup repeatedly to avoid lumps, and the few VERY SMALL lumps that remained were actually tastey. I have made other cheese broccoli soups but this batch was remarked the best one by my hubby!

Jambalaya II

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2003
i had a few changed to this recipe, due to what was in my pantry. i halfed the recipe. Used a lil cayenne pepper instead of chili powder, omitted worcestershire, didnt have paste so i used a small can of tomatoe sauce, 1 half a large green jalepeno, and 6 healthy shakes of hot creole seasoning. since i halfed the recipe it all came out delicious and perfect texture. Leftovers get spicier, be warned!

Chilled Russian Salad Dressing

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2003
great flavor. I didnt use it on salad, just for dipping seafood and in recipes. I dunno what that other person meant about not liking the color, it's around the same color as thousand island dressing, a kind of really light pink/orange.

Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2004
OK first off, i half this recipe. Sometimes i vary taco sauce with salsa. I use chedder cheese cause thats what i have onhand. Overall a very versitle recipe you can play with, try using enchilada sauce instead of taco sauce for a different flavor. I have been using this recipe as a base for years, it is one of my husband's most asked for meals.
