Mexican Cream Cheese Rollups

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2003
i used black olives only, and sliced turkey lunch meat (with cream cheese mixture spread before the turkey and just a lil on top to make sure the toppings stuck) and doubled the cream cheese mixture as other reviews said. Served them for a different lunch for hubby and he loved them! Ppl at work asked where he BOUGHT them!

Cranberry Sauce Chicken I

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2003
I made this with huge bone in chicken legs, 3 of them. All else the same. A keeper. I used Aunt Betty's french dressing recipe i found off this site. I baked them at the recommended heat for 1 1/2 to 1 hour 45 mins till juices ran clear when cut into the thickest part. Good flavor and helped get hubby to eat cheap cuts of chicken!

Aunt Betty's French Dressing

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2003
I made this and let it sit in the fridge, it seperated a bit, but i whisked before serving. It makes a square gladware full, but was well used in a taco salad and a recipe off this site called cranberry sauce chicken with onion soup, cranberry and the dressing. both are weekly recipes.

Plum Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2003
pretty good light cake. Good use for all the plums i get from my mom's tree. Sugaring the plums makes it slightly sweeter, but it really depends on the plums.

Potato Pizza Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2003
good flavor, didnt use pepperoni. Might next time. Not a very good presentation but hubby liked it and he eats like a lil kid. Might be quicker if potatoes were cut up before hand.

Chilled Russian Salad Dressing

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2003
great flavor. I didnt use it on salad, just for dipping seafood and in recipes. I dunno what that other person meant about not liking the color, it's around the same color as thousand island dressing, a kind of really light pink/orange.

Chicken Sopa

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2003
i used nacho cheese soups instead of the ones listed and put red enchilada sauce on top of the whole thing. Hubby loved it(he likes recipes often liked by picky children), i will make this again.

Jambalaya II

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2003
i had a few changed to this recipe, due to what was in my pantry. i halfed the recipe. Used a lil cayenne pepper instead of chili powder, omitted worcestershire, didnt have paste so i used a small can of tomatoe sauce, 1 half a large green jalepeno, and 6 healthy shakes of hot creole seasoning. since i halfed the recipe it all came out delicious and perfect texture. Leftovers get spicier, be warned!

Heather's Best Ever Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2003
my husband liked this recipe and thinks i should make it again. i just thought it was ok. went well with mashed potatos and green beans. I made it with skinless boneless chicken thighs and cooked at 400 degrees for 25 mins like someone else advised. I marinated only for an hour, next time i might try longer and see if that helps me like the recipe more.

Baked Sesame Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2003
i used a sauce called "fish and things teriyaki marinade" by jill on this site instead of soy sauce. I coated the chicken with the flour mix and seeds and then sauce. i stir fried instead of baking and added more sesame seeds on top. it was delicious!

Hubby loves chicken corn chowder, very filling, he even ate the leftovers. I wasn't crazy about it but it had a good flavor and didnt take as long to prepare as some soup recipes.

Kelsey's Cheesy Bacon Breasts

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2003
My husband loved the taste of the easy recipe. i liked how it didnt take a long time to make. I marinaded the chicken in vinegar and a meat rub in the fridge for an hour and a half before cooking to really bring out the BBQ flavor.

Twice Baked Cheesy Potatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2003
one of the other reviews was right needs some season salt and bacon to add to the recipe. Good but hard to make if the potatoes are even the slightest bit undercooked, i found smaller potatoes easier to scoop out
