My favorite things to cook
Any kind of yummo food! Healthy.. Unhealthy.. I was born in US so I'm americanized. I cook more american food, better, than i do asian. I do both tho! =) and love learning how to do more w other countries food!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving I always cooked. but havent past couple years bc everyone lived away from each other. Maybe we'll do big dinners again soon? When we did, we'd have both traditional american & korean food =)
My cooking triumphs
hmm.. is this where we do bragging rights? lol! i do make a great HOMEMADE biscuits&gravy for an ASIAN girl! Biscuits come out so moist and yummy! Gravy yumo to! Upside down turkey, egg rolls, subs, garlic mashed potato, etc..
My cooking tragedies
omg... talking about biscuits and gravy. first time i tried to make it. Biscuits came out hard and crumbled. gravy came out lumpy and watery! I dont usually bake well. My sister does! Also, very first time i made fried rice I mixed raw egg w/ cooked rice. I didnt have anyone teach me, so i guessed. ALWAYS cook egg first! lol! you have to deal w tradegies if you wanna be a good cook! ;)

Baked Scallops
Keeper! Absolutely loved them! So easy to make and so delicious! I used the big sea scallops. I didnt have any seasoned bread crumbs on hand so i smashed up butter crackers instead. Crackers and big scallops worked great! =) o yes! I sprinkled lemon juice on them too! I've never baked scallops before so i was scared but they came out perfect! No more sautéed scallops, trying to make sure you done under or over cook them! I totally prefer this baking method now. Also, My husband is so picky when it comes to scallops being cooked. He's actually picky w all food in general. Lol! He will straight out tell you if he dont like something, or if its too tuff, etc... But he said these were amazing!! =) Thank you for sharing your wonderful recipe w us! =)
