These cookies are delicious...I took the advice of others and increased the flour to 1 3/4c, the baking soda to 1 tsp, and the salt to 1/2 tsp. I also used 1/2 cup pecans, and 1/2 cup walnuts instead of the full 1 cup walnuts. Subsitituted 1 cup butter flavored Crisco Baking Stick instead of Butter, so the flavor would still be there but with 50% less saturated fat. Baked them for 12 minutes at 335 deg. Used a mini ice-cream scooper and rolled into balls before placing on baking sheet covered with parchement paper. These are fantastic! Will definitely make again.
