Chocolate Mousse

I've tried innumerable different chocolate mousse recipes, as it's one of my favorite desserts, but to no avail. After a while, I just gave up. But I took a trip to NC and had a delicious chocolate mousse, and a few months after I got home, I was desperate to recreate that experience, so I searched all over for a good recipe. I stumbled upon this one, and I'm SO glad I did! I absolutely LOVE it!!! I'll never use any other chocolate mousse recipe. Thank you! The only thing I did differently than the recipe is that I didn't add the extra white sugar to the cream. I don't like my mousses too sweet. It was perfect! 5 stars.

Fudge Truffle Cheesecake

I absolutely loved this cheesecake! I made it twice, however, because the first time, I processed the vanilla wafers with the sugar, but the crust came out too mushy. The next time, I used finely crumbled oreos with some butter and it was perfect! I also substituted the semi-sweet chocolate chips for dark chocolate chips. I served it with strawberries and fresh whipped cream, entered it in a Bake-Off and won first place! Thank you very much.

Pasta Primavera with Italian Turkey Sausage

Great recipe!!! The entire family loved it. Since I'm not a huge fan of sausage, I used chicken. And since I didn't have any fresh basil on-hand, I made a basil infused water, which actually served more than one purpose as it made for a really yummy sauce.

Rich Chocolate Truffle Pie

The taste was a bit too sweet (but not too chocolatey!) for my liking, so I'd probably make the pie sans the chocolate next time. Also, I let my pie sit for 24+ hours in the fridge, but it still wasn't whipped enough, and it began melting almost as soon as I took it out. Any suggestions on how to avoid this issue? Other than that, the pie was delicious and easy to make!
