Midwest Brisket

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2012
I picked up a brisket on sale even though I haven't had much success with them in the past, found this recipe & WOW! I used the crockpot and cooked the meat over a chopped onion, then made a gravy from the liquid to serve with mashed potatoes. Moist & Flavorful. A real keeper... ~Thank you! :)

Famous Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2011
I have always had trouble getting my pork chops to be tender. We had this tonight and it was really moist & tasty! I only had panko on hand, baked as directed, and put the dish in the broiler for a few minutes to brown the tops.. Making this again! Thank you! :)

I worked at a coffee shop in my 20's that had the most amazing pumpkin bread recipe that was kept under lock & key. I have been yearning for a recipe like it for, ahem, a few years now- and this Is It! I will try it with walnuts next time, thanks for sharing this A M A Z I N G punkin' bread!! :D

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2011
Amazing Recipe! I used kitchen twine instead of toothpicks (holds together much better), dipped the stuffed chicken into garlic powder & paprika seasoned flour, then egg, then Panko (be careful browning- Panko browns much quicker than regular bread crumbs!), browned all sides until golden and simmered on the stovetop like the recipe says. For a beautiful presentation- Slice into medallions and serve with the sauce poured down the middle. The recipe as it is makes enough sauce for 2-3 chicken breasts, and half a breast is really enough for 1 person when served with a veggie and a baked potato! Do add fresh basil to the sauce, as suggested by another reviewer. Enjoy!!
