Simple to make, just as directed. So very good, perfect as is! I made as a 1/2 recipe and it went fast.

Dorsey's Fried Oysters

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2009
Followed as directed. I did not care for this recipe. Flavor was just ok, not too sweet, not too spicy, kinda bland even with added seasoning. I'll keep looking, to perfect. Was not the crunch I was looking for at all, cooking any longer to get that small crunch would have resulted in a black coating.

Ground Beef Bar-b-que

Very quick and easy. I gave 4 stars because I too, made them as sloppy joes, instead as directed. I added some honey, brown sugar and bbq sauce as well. Very simple and filling!

Rosemary Turkey Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2009
This is THE BEST recipe for turkey meatloaf ever. I followed everything but omitted the 1 cup milk, it really isn't even needed, it's plenty moist without it. Sauce on top makes it fantastic. This goes in the weekly rotation for good! I did add a few spices that my family likes along with minced peppers. Thanks for sharing this one.

Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2009
Wow, I am AMAZED at how yummy this is. I usually don't try a recipe unless it has many ratings, so I was very nervous about wasting food. It was so perfect. I didn't use as a marinade because I didn't have time so I quadrupled the sauce mix (I added very finely minced onions and peppers)and then boiled it to reduce it and use. I pan fried chicken breasts (bone in) with salt and pepper and then when they were done, poured in the reduced sauce. I let it boil and bubble for about 10 mins. OMG my whole family loves it. Fantastic.....

Magic Peanut Butter Middles

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2009
Very good recipe. Only thing I added was 2 tsps of sour cream. Let both filling and batter sit in the fridge for 10 mins and I rolled by hand, no flour needed. 7 mins, perfect timing. Hubby says I have to make for a summer cookie exchange at work this week. Do use a good cocoa powder.

Emily's Famous Hash Browns

Perfect and so simple. I made them on a griddle and added some cooked crumbled sausage, grated sharp cheddar and some finely chopped peppers and onions. Heaven indeed and can be a meal in itself!

Yummy cake! Did not use lemon extract used 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup lemon juice as others have, gave it just the right lemon flavor I wanted!

I have never made or eaten a turkey chili. This was wonderfully easy and tasted fantastic. The kids loved it as well as the hubby! I didn't have to add water at all!

Surely I did something wrong. Don't scale this down, that's the only thing I can figure I did wrong.

Chocolate Cobbler

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2009
I made this just as stated, no changes and OMG it was perfect! Gooey and sweet, perfect with whipped cream or ice cream. The only thing I am planning to do next time is use a better quality cocoa, although mine was fine, it could be divine!

Salmon Patties I

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2009
Very good starter recipe. I opted to mince my onion, added green and red peppers minced, and spiked it with some various seasonings. I also opted to use milk with it, as it does make it moister. I cooked on a griddle set at high and needed no extra oil at all. They browned on the outside just fine and were yummy! I also used the dressing suggested on here, and OH MY GOD, YUMMY! Wonderful in a bun with the trimmings!

Triple Berry Crisp

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2009
Loved this so much! Instead of fresh berries, I used a 16 Oz bag of mixed ones and added a 16 oz bag of strawberries because 1 16 once bag is not enough. Followed everything else perfectly and OH MY GOD, it went super fast.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
The best I have ever had. You won't regret going the extra mile, OMG it was worth it. Tasted better than I have ever had out. I used the ready to go noodles, just wish I had a thicker pan to layer higher. I also added sliced pepperoni to a layer too, really good.

Shepherd's Pie VI

Very good recipe and you can tweak the veggies how you like them. I like to do a meat, cheese, veggies, cheese, potatoes then heavy cheese on top. Use a good instant potato for a quick fix. Awesome.

Baking Powder Biscuits

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
Very good recipe, perfect as is. When you cut them, make sure they are at least 1 inch thick and they raise great. Great with a sausage gravy and my kids love me to make these for monkey bread instead of using the store bought stuff. Try with a herbed butter too!

Basic Crepes

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
The best crepe recipe I have found yet. I add a teaspoon of vanilla. I also love how they cook so fast on a griddle. I put a dollop of cream cheese in the middle of mine, melt some jam and dabble over. PERFECT.

Yummy Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies

While I did like this cookie, it wasn't quite what I had hoped it would have been. Wasn't peanut buttery enough (for me)and a little dry.
