Seven Grain Bread II

The flavor was good but the texture was a bit dry. Like others, mine also fell. Since I like the taste, I'd really like to tweak it to adjust the texture. I may come back to this recipe after I have a bit more experience with breadmaker bread.

Country Seed Bread

This was my first bread machine bread... Wow!!!!! The only change I made was omitting poppy seeds & adding the equilivant amount of 10-grain cereal. The only problem now will be that my husband will want fresh bread daily.

BAKER'S Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Love'm!!! I use 1/2 choc chunks & 1/2 peanut butter chips. Otherwise, I do not alter the recipe - it doesn't need it... YUMMY!!!

Brownie Chocolate Chip Cheesecake

Made as directed... yummy! As others suggested, I used a water bath & left in oven to cool for an hour before putting it in the fridge. Served with whipped cream, garnished with choc shavings.

Peanut Blossoms II

These are awesome - but, this is the Peanut Butter Blossom recipe from crisco. I always make these with butter flavored crisco.

Sugar Cookie Icing

Great Base. You will need to play around with the amount of milk & corn syrup to get it to the consistancy you need. Dries beautiful & glossy. As with any sugar cookie icing, allow several hours for drying time. You can't make at 5 and take at 6.

These are great... so easy, little mess, nice texture, good flavor. Tip: Toast your nuts it's worth the extra time (350 for 10 mins)

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies III

Yummy!!!!!!!! I do not sandwich these but instead make them as single cookies, thinning the filling to use as glaze. I make (and eat) a lot of cookies... I think these are my favorite!

Confetti Barley Pilaf

I left out the cabbage, mushrooms & basil. I added more liquid & a bit of cayenne pepper and wow did that kick it up - excellent! I'll play with it some more, I love it. I didn't even know I liked barley.

Delilah's Frosted Cut-Out Sugar Cookies

The dough tasted great. The biggest dissapointment was that they puffed up too much distorting the shapes. I can't comment on the frosting b/c there was no sense in making it since the cookies looked like big blobs. This might be a great dough for snickerdoodles.

Creamy Rice Pudding

My husband & I loved it! Will make again & again..... excellent served with cinnamon & whipped cream. As suggested by others, I made a few mods.: 1. For extra flavor, I added a touch of vanilla extract to the water when I cooked the rice in microwave rice cooker. 2. Added the sugar (1/2 cup) after the rice, milk & salt had cooked for 10 minutes (about a 1/4 cup extra milk too) then cooked 10 mins more. 3. Made sure to beat the egg & then wisk in the milk before adding to rice/milk mixture(you won't end up with egg pieces in pudding). 4. I doubled the vanilla & left out the butter & raisins. Love it!!! Thanks for sharing this recipe.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

The dough is so easy to work with, a two year old could roll & cut it... Baked, the texture & flavor are good, but not as tasty as the more difficult to work with Crisco Ultimate Sugar Cookies. Wonderful, 5 star worthy.

Vanilla Ice Cream V

I LOVE IT!!! I added in mini chocolate chips & it tasted and had the texture of Breyers all natural chocolate chip ice cream (my all-time favorite). This is the recipe that will totally blow my diet. Thanks a bunch.

Simple Country Ribs

***** Yummy!!! ***** Juicy & tender. It rained so I put them in under the broiler. I didn't have enough BBQ sauce so I doctored it up a bit... wish I wrote down exactly whet I put in.

Chicken Enchiladas V

Everyone loved them... I did (as I always do) add extra cheese - I stirred it in to the soup/sour cream mix. Will definitely make again. Thanks for the recipe.
