My husband really enjoyed the bread, as did our housemates who pretty much depleted our 3-loaf supply. If I make it again, I'll be hiding the bread so the housemates don't eat it all :p
This was my first attempt at bread baking, and it was easy! I'll definitely be experimenting with different types of breads. I did notice a strong, yeast-y sort of taste, which probably comes from the fact that I've never eaten fresh-out-of-the-oven-made-from-scratch bread. Still, for the yeastiness, I rate this a 4-Star recipe.
I also used regular flour, and had no trouble.
Spread a little garlic powder and some butter shavings over the top before baking for a nice, savory bread.
