I bake 1-2 loaves of bread a day for my family. We don't buy premade bread, so I was looking for a new recipe. I have tried this recipe now four different times in two different bread machines. I have tried two different bread flours and I have come up with same results every time. The bread will raise up and then sink and be knotty on top. The taste of the bread is good enough and it's easy enough to put together, but I have yet to get a nice loaf. Today, I tried reducing the sugar to 1 tbsp + 1 tsp instead of the 2 tablespoons called for and it was still knotty on top, but didn't collapse quite as bad. Next time I will try even less sugar. I think that it's a decent recipe, but something isn't right. I'll experiment :-)
