Slow Cooker Taco Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2014
amazing good. I didn't have black beans, so used kidney, but did drain the juice, and this meal is deeelish!!! definitely will make again and again. I added a can of diced green chile's too.. not too spicy but a tad of a kick.. it only made a 1/2 crockpot full, so it was gone the first day, next time I will make double batch so we can have leftovers.

Tater Tot Casserole II

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2011
wow wow! what a great recipe, I've made it exactly how the recipe called but did add a handful of potato chips to the top along with the fried onions, 1 of the best dishes I have ever made and it was a hit with everybody including a picky teenager. I will definitely be keeping this recipe in my recipe box and making it again. definitely a 5 star recipe

Spicy Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2011
Very delicious! I did use tad less mustard and added tad more mayo just because we like creamier i guess. It is a keeper in my recipe box. Hint for those struggling on peeling eggs. Once they are done, put in cold water for about 2 minutes, then crack each egg softly, one crack each side or each end, and let soak in cold water for an hour, when you go to peel, it practically falls off for you.

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2011
Made as recipe stated, put did follow advice of another and put slice of bread on bottom to soak up some extra grease, which really helped. I also made a little extra ketchup sauce and put on top with last 15 minutes of baking. It was gobbled up by all and we all agreed 5.stars is warranted! Thanks rempel family for sharing.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2012
not a super big fan of pulled pork sandwiches but this was a big hit with some picky eaters in my family. I used butt roast vs a tenderloin loin as tenderloin does not shred and can dry things out. use either a butt or shoulder roast, you'll love this.

100 stars if I could. The best warm dessert ever. I did follow other reviewers and made sure not to use the buttery crescent rolls. It was a hit by all!

Slow Cooker Chile Verde

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2011
Absolutely the best flavor. At the end, i did mix up about 1/4 cup corn starch/water mixture in to thickn just a tad. I made up some scrambled eggs and put the soupy mixture over the eggs, heated up some corn tortillas, then rolled one tortilla up, dipped into mixture, took a bite, dipped into sauce again, another bite, yes, double dipping but its your own bowl and dont even need a fork. Definately a keeper recipe! I made it exactly as written except for the cornstarch at the end. Highly recommend this with scrambled eggs! my step dad who is picky, loved it

Absolutely by far, best punch ever! I doubled the recipe based on other reviews, we had 15 people here last night and there was maybe 2 or 3 cups left in the bowl. Everyone loved it, and went back for more!

Spicy Bean Salsa

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2012
I made this recipe twice. The first time made it exactly as recipe called for. The second batch, omitted the italian seasoning mix, replaced with 1/2 cup lime juice and 1/2 cup lemon juice. Both were great but I think using lime and lemon juice in lieu of seasoning was better. I did add a small handful of fresh cilantro

Slow-Cooker Posole

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2012
Absolutely delish. First time I made it, made exactly as written, superb! Made it again tonight, but used green enchilada sauce vs the red, and I'm thinking I may like green better. I did use chicken broth in lieu of water... Make sure you dont skimp on the seasonings. Rating this a 5+++++++
