Spicy Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2011
Very delicious! I did use tad less mustard and added tad more mayo just because we like creamier i guess. It is a keeper in my recipe box. Hint for those struggling on peeling eggs. Once they are done, put in cold water for about 2 minutes, then crack each egg softly, one crack each side or each end, and let soak in cold water for an hour, when you go to peel, it practically falls off for you.

Delicious Tangy Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2011
by far, the most tender and tasty chops we have ever had. I marinated them for about 7 hours, and because the chops were fairly thick and boneless, i ended up grilling them about 6 minutes on each side. Super flavor, thanks doonze for the best pork chop recipe ever. this recipe was perfect for 4 adults. The garlic was optional, i used it and glad I did.

Bacon and Feta Stuffed Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2011
Made this dish last night, folowed recipe as originally written, didnt substitute anything. Not willing to give this dish a 5, but the flavor was good, sauce very runny, I will make dish again but will add a little salt and maybe add something to thicken up sauce a tad. Besides that, all and all, it was a good meal. Cooked up some angel hair pasta and served with it.

Avocado, Tomato and Mango Salsa

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2011
Awesome! i made double.batch, what.a hit . If you are planning on eating within 24 hours, this is perfect, if you let sit more, it really gets mushy. I did take other readers advice and squeezed out the seeds and juices from the tomatoes. Will definately make again. I would also suggest getting a mango that is on verge of being ripe or ripe, for best flavor to the salsa.

Flatlander Chili

Made this without changing anything, very flavorful, easy to make, after I browned the hamburger, I just threw everything in slow cooker on high for 4 hours. It was a hit to all including neighbor who came by. Will definately make this as again!

Spicy Bean Salsa

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2012
I made this recipe twice. The first time made it exactly as recipe called for. The second batch, omitted the italian seasoning mix, replaced with 1/2 cup lime juice and 1/2 cup lemon juice. Both were great but I think using lime and lemon juice in lieu of seasoning was better. I did add a small handful of fresh cilantro

The Best Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2011
Good but tad sweet for my liking. Two days later, made again but changed a fewthings. 1.5 cups of sugar, (white and brown combined), dash more cinnamon and to make tad softer, 1/4 cup more oats, and the cookies were perfect 9-8-12 update. I have tried other similar recipes, not one comes even close to this one. If you don't like raisins use dried cranberries. Remember 1.5 cups combined white brown sugar is better.

Great recipe I made as recipe was written, no pecans though 375 for 10 minutes was perfect. Kinda crunchy on outside but yummy soft on the inside. Definately a keepee for my file.

Apple-Cranberry Crisp

Absolutely the best!!!! I used 4 large granny smiths, which is comparable to 2 lbs I used dried cranberries, as I wasn't sure if recipe was for fresh or not. this was a very very very good and if you want to make a dessert to please, this is it. I made no changes to this recipe except i did double the topping mixture as other reviewers suggested, and it was perfect!!!

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2013
excellent. I did do as some of the reviews suggested and made sure to put some of the hot rice mixture in with the egg before pouring egg into the pot. very tasty. i then made a second batch and used craisens instead of raisens, and I think i like the craisens better.

Slow-Cooker Posole

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2012
Absolutely delish. First time I made it, made exactly as written, superb! Made it again tonight, but used green enchilada sauce vs the red, and I'm thinking I may like green better. I did use chicken broth in lieu of water... Make sure you dont skimp on the seasonings. Rating this a 5+++++++

Sparkling Punch

Absolutely by far, best punch ever! I doubled the recipe based on other reviews, we had 15 people here last night and there was maybe 2 or 3 cups left in the bowl. Everyone loved it, and went back for more!

Slow Cooker Chile Verde

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2011
Absolutely the best flavor. At the end, i did mix up about 1/4 cup corn starch/water mixture in to thickn just a tad. I made up some scrambled eggs and put the soupy mixture over the eggs, heated up some corn tortillas, then rolled one tortilla up, dipped into mixture, took a bite, dipped into sauce again, another bite, yes, double dipping but its your own bowl and dont even need a fork. Definately a keeper recipe! I made it exactly as written except for the cornstarch at the end. Highly recommend this with scrambled eggs! my step dad who is picky, loved it
