Mouse's Macaroni and Cheese

Excellent mac and cheese, I didn't have the velveeta in the house so I used cheese slices, about 7, used sharp cheddar and also added 2 slices of swiss cheese to even out the sharp taste. This is great! I will be making this again.

Pumpkin Turkey Chili

I really liked this but it was bland. I added about 1 cup of chicken broth and red kidney beans. I also put nutmeg in the chili. It came out great!

Scones

I tried out this recipe for my daughters birthday, we are having a tea party. This was a great recipe. I didn't have milk so I used buttermilk and half and half (1/2 cup each, I also mixed the egg with the liquid like someone else had suggested). The dough came out wet so I just spooned it onto the baking sheet. I added pecans and white chocolate chunks-my daughter loved it! I will be making these again, and I am going to try different add-ins. She requested chocolate chip and cranberry.

Love it. I used 2 cans of petite diced tomatos and fresh cilantro. I omitted the jalapanos-too hot for me but did add chili powder. Just right!

Apple Crisp II

This is excellent. I just made this because I had some apples that I really had to use. I only had 3 so I chopped those up and added 3 pears. I also added nuts-I had some pecans and walnuts and threw those into the mix. The result was delicious! I will make this again and again.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

This is excellant! I added the nuts in the batter then some on top. I also substituted the oil for applesauce, it is just as moist and tastes the same without nearly as much fat. My daughter loves it!

Tina's Shortbread Chocolate Chip Cookies

I made these for some clients at Christmas time and everyone loved them. They are a nice change from plain old chocolate chip cookies. The best part, I can make the dough and freeze it, big time saver!

Hawaiian Bread II
