Italian Cookies I
I think this recipe uses about a 1/2 c. too much flour- probably to compensate for the soft butter.

OREO Ultimate Turtle Cheesecake
i made this for Mother's Day and it was such a hit, I've made it several times since. I have not altered the recipe one bit but I do note that the crust requires some upper body strength to cut through when cutting the cake into slices. The recommendation to line a cookie sheet with foil and place the spring form pan on that for baking was a great idea. This was a very heavy cheesecake and I worried about transporting it, and decided to leave the bottom of the spring form pan attached and it transported without incident. A word of caution: this cake takes me much more than 30 min. prep. time.

Baked Ziti I
I made this recipe last night and it was delicious. I agree with an earlier reviewer that ricotta cheese can be drying. The sour cream and provolone were perfect. My two young adult sons LOVED it. I did add an additional small (14 oz.) jar of spaghetti sauce at the suggestion of another earlier reviewer and it was a good move. I also baked covered at the suggestion of an earlier reviewer and that was also a good move. And I tossed the cooked ziti with the pasta sauce before layering. Another reviewer great tip. I will definitely use this recipe again - may never go back to ricotta!!
