These were great! Followed the recipe exactly as written, except to use some brewed coffee in place of the vanilla extract. Everyone enjoyed these. Lived up to their name for me!

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2013
These turned out wonderful! I used butter in place of the shortening, but otherwise kept the ingredients the same. I followed the reviews and did not knead the dough or over mix. Soft and fluffy biscuits were the result! Loved them! This will my go to biscuit recipe from now on. Thanks for the recipe!

Super Sausage Gravy

This turned out great! I doubled the flour and milk, but kept the amount of sausage the same. I also added some garlic powder, and didn't use Bob Evans sausage. Yum yum! Thanks for sharing!

Mom's Buttermilk Pancakes

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2012
My family really enjoyed these pancakes!! I did not have any buttermilk, so I substituted milk and vinegar. Surprisingly, they still turned out nice and fluffy. I also added a tablespoon of sugar per batch, and replaced the butter with oil. They ended up being absolutely perfect!! Our new go-to pancake recipe for sure!! Thanks for sharing:)

Banana Coconut Muffins (Vegan)

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2012
Wow!! Definitely the best banana muffins I have ever had!! No one will be able to tell that these are healthy. Be careful not to add too much liquid or it will affect the texture of the muffins. The only change I made was to use honey in place of the maple syrup. The muffins turned out a little too wet, but the flavor was still amazing. Next time I will let the batter to sit for 10 minutes before baking to allow the coconut flour to absorb some of the moisture. Anyways, this is a fantastic recipe:) Can't wait to make it again!!

Sour Cream Chocolate Frosting

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2012
Followed the recipe exactly, and it turned out perfect!! The tang of the sour cream is the perfect contrast to the sweetness of the confectioners' sugar. This is great on yellow or chocolate cake. We loved this recipe, and will be using it again and again!! Thanks for sharing:)

Paleo Friendly Banana Shake

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2012
This is one of my favorite breakfasts:) I am not Paleo, but I still love it. Super simple and healthy!! I usually use around 1/2 cup of milk for every frozen banana, and then allow to freeze for about 20-25 minutes before drinking. The consistency turns out perfect for me. Some of my favorite additions are cocoa powder, cinnamon, mint, peanut butter, and instant coffee. All delicious!! Occasionally, I use almond milk in place of the coconut. Great either way!! Thanks for sharing:)

ABC Pudding - Avocado, Banana, Chocolate Delight

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2012
Love this pudding!! The only change I make is to reduce the amount of bananas to two. I normally use over-ripe bananas for extra sweetness. The avocado makes the consistency of this pudding very creamy. So good!! My food processor works perfect for this recipe. Extremely nutritious and delicious:) Thanks for sharing!!

Hot Fudge Ice Cream Bar Dessert

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2012
Amazing!! Made this for my sister's birthday per her request. Family and company raved about it!! One guest called his wife and compared it to an ice cream cake from Coldstone Creamery. A compliment for sure!! I did make a couple of changes to suit our tastes. I used chunky peanut butter and doubled the amount called for. We are peanut butter lovers!! I also omitted the peanuts and used chopped up Snicker bars instead. Definitely would recommend that you freeze overnight for a nice, solid texture, and that you pour the chocolate sauce over the ice cream sandwiches for easier spreading. The peanut butter makes this recipe so add plenty!! This dessert is a keeper for sure. Everybody was fighting over the last couple of pieces!! Will be making again soon:) Thanks for sharing!!

Zucchini Noodles

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2012
Awesome!! Loved this simple idea!! Worked great as a pasta substitute. Used my vegetable peeler to make the noodles, and then sautéed for a couple of minutes in water till soft. Thanks so much for the perfect solution to grain-free "noodles." I will definitely be making this often!!

Ultimate Chocolate Dessert

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2012
Made this for my parent's anniversary as part of a special dinner. My dad absolutely loved it and was asking for more the next day. It was a little too rich for my mom, but she still seemed to enjoy it. Followed the recipe exactly as written and refrigerated for over 6 hours. Next time I will allow to chill overnight as the desired firmness wasn't quite reached. This is a very elegant dessert and I will definitely make again!! Thanks for sharing:)

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2012
Amazing!! I made this for my mom and she absolutely loved it!! I did make a few changes based on what I had on hand. I used lime in place of the lemon, and cuajado cheese in place of the parmesan. Otherwise, I followed the recipe exactly. Even with these adjustments, the recipe still turned out wonderful. Perfect with rice pilaf and sauteed fresh green beans. Thank you so much for sharing!!

Baked Kale Chips

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2012
These are a great, healthy substitute for potato chips!! The only problem I had with this recipe is that it calls for way too much salt. The first batch I made came out extremely salty. On the next batch, I used only a pinch of salt. They turned out perfect for my tastes. Thanks for sharing!!

Sarah's Applesauce

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2012
Love this recipe!! So incredibly simple and very yummy. Definitely an improvement on store-bought applesauce. There is no need to add the sugar, as the natural sweetness of the apples is plenty. Will be using this recipe a lot!! Thanks for sharing:)

Baked Oatmeal II

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2012
Amazing!! Our whole family loves this!! My dad said that this is the best baked oatmeal that he has ever had, and my mom said we should make it for breakfast three times a week. With responses like that, it is definitely a keeper:) This recipe, for our tastes, is absolutely perfect as written. We especially like it warm with milk poured over it. So good!! Baked Oatmeal I from this site was our previous go-to baked oatmeal recipe, but everyone agrees that this recipe is much better. Thanks so much for sharing!!
