About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
Anything and Everything!! I love trying new recipes. Desserts and baking are always the most fun. I especially enjoy making grain-free treats that I can enjoy without having to worry about how they will affect my body.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every Thanksgiving and Christmas my mom and I stay up till around 4:00a.m. cooking for the big day. It's so much fun!! Cooking with my mom is awesome. She is the best cook ever. I also enjoy spending time in the kitchen with my siblings.
My cooking triumphs
Anytime my cooking puts a smile on someone's face:)
My cooking tragedies
Too many to count!! A mistake I repeatedly make is forgetting I have things cooking and leaving them in the oven or on the stove to long:) Always a disaster. Once, when I was around 12, I was making a cheesecake and my hair got caught in our Kitchen Aid mixer. It rolled all the way up so that my head was touching the mixer. I have pretty long hair and I was so scared that I would have to chop it all off!! It was really funny though. My cousins and sisters were laughing hysterically at me.

Onion Rings
These were perfect! Super easy and they turned out delicious. I used homemade pancake batter and added some cajun seasoning to it. Can't wait to make these again! Thanks for the recipe!

Never Fail Chocolate Chip Cookies
These were great! Followed the recipe exactly as written, except to use some brewed coffee in place of the vanilla extract. Everyone enjoyed these. Lived up to their name for me!

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits
These turned out wonderful! I used butter in place of the shortening, but otherwise kept the ingredients the same. I followed the reviews and did not knead the dough or over mix. Soft and fluffy biscuits were the result! Loved them! This will my go to biscuit recipe from now on. Thanks for the recipe!
