Albondigas

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2012
This is so easy and so tasty. My mother in law has been making albondigas for a very long time and this recipe tastes very close to hers. I am excited to make it again for my husband. We served it with warm flour tortilla- delicious!

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2012
This is really good. I recommend using fresh chicken because the frozen retains a lot of water and the sauce was a little watery at the end. Also I would cook it on low instead of high. I'll definitely make this again- great sauce!!!!!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2012
Awesome! I tenderized the meat with a powdered meat tenderizer so I didn't add salt. I added chives, a packet of onion soup mix and in addition to the golden mushroom soup I added a can of beefy mushroom as well and doubled the water. I also added minced garlic and chives. At the end i added 3 tbl spoons of flour. The other change I made was I used half cream cheese and half sour cream. It was sooo delicious! I can't wait to make it again!

I'm so glad I tried this! It is so wonderful and flavorful! I added a couple tbl spoons balsamic- so good- and some dried chives. My husband wanted something light for dinner so I made this which was perfect. We loved it!

Chunky Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2012
My husband's favorite kind of soup is potato. He said this was delicious! He asked me to make it again. I loved it! I added leaks and crumbled some crisp bacon in it. I also added lots of granulated onion because I didn't have any fresh onion. I omitted the carrots and celery only because I didn't have it. The Swiss is so good in it. Cheddar would be good too!

Midwest Loose Meats

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2012
This is super tasty! I made enough for two people so I used 1 lb ground beef, half a can of beef broth, and lots of onion powder, worcester, and spicy mustard to simmer the meat in. I also added onion. It was great! I will make it again!

Ham and Broccoli Au Gratin

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2012
This was delicious. My husband doesn't like casseroles, but liked this! I added lots of salt and pepper and some onion powder.Next time I would use the dough flat over the top. The dough didn't cook evenly on my oven cut up like that although the presentation was very pretty. I might even try this recipe with egg noodles. I will make it again soon!

Jet Swirl Pizza Appetizers

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2011
This was soo easy! My father in law loved it. I added a little pizza sauce ( don't add to much or it will be soggy). Next time I will add roasted red peppers and peppercinis!

Onion Bake

Really good! This is so rich and delicious. I followed the recipe exactly and it was amazing. Its not over oniony like one might think. I served it as a side dish. This would be a great party food.

Curried Chicken and Brown Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2011
This was good and I will probably make it again. I used frozen peas instead of raisins and diced canned tomatoes instead of stewed. My husband really enjoyed it.

Jen's Nachos

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2011
These are awesome! I made them in the slow cooker and served chips on the side for a party and called them cowboy nachos. Everyone loved them. They are quite sweet from the BBQ sauce. My husband isn't a fan of BBQ sauce, so if you don't like BBQ sauce, its not for you. But, kids love it!

Asian Coleslaw

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2011
This is outstanding! I added a little extra rice wine vinegar. I serve this at cook outs all the time-people love it. The only thing is you have to make it right before you are going to eat it, so I just prep everything and mix it all together before serving.
