Tomato Pepper Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2011
Very simple and a great way to use up leftover veggies from the garden. I added about 1/2 tea of sugar to cut some of the acidity and some Italian Seasonings. We served this with some crackers and cheese and it made a great appetizer.

Great recipe for after work when you are tired and need to get something good together. Great with applesauce or red pepper corn relish.

Herb-Glazed Roasted Turkey

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2011
This was delicious. We used this on a roaster chicken with the skin removed and it was great. Very sweet and the meat was so flavor all over. I mixed up the herbs a little too. I will be making this one again!

Ma Lipo's Apricot-Glazed Turkey with Roasted Onion and Shallot Gravy

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2011
We used this on a chicken roaster instead of a turkey and it turned out amazing. I did not have any fresh sage so I substituted it for fresh basil instead. The next time I make this I think I will start glazing it a little ahead of the instructions as I don't think the chicken picked up the glaze as much as I would have liked.

Spicy Chinese Barbeque Riblets

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2011
Wonderful. We are not fans of spicy things but the recipe looked so good so I replaced the hot sauce with oyster sauce. Wow. We saved the sauce for future use on grilled chicken, it's that good. Thanks for sharing.

Peanut Butter Pie VII

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2011
This is an excellent pie for peanut butter lovers but I'll agree with the other reviewers that it is very rich. I love that you make your own custard in this versus a store bought pudding. I am not a an of meringue so I also substituted it for homemade whip cream. By making the whip cream with less sugar it was a great balance to the sugar and salt of the remaining pie. We will make again!

Camarones al Ajillo (Garlic Shrimp)

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2011
Great shrimp recipe and so simple. I always like to put a little bit of anchovy paste in when I saute vegetables. You can't tell there are anchovies in there at all, it just gives it a nutty, salty flavor. Very good, thanks for sharing.

Zucchini with Pecans

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2011
So simple. I added some carrots and squash that I had on hand and instead of pecans used honey roasted peanuts, chopped. It was a delicious combination of salt and sweet.

A wonderful recipe! We did not add the hot sauce but added a tablespoon of sugar. It was great with pork chops.

Cornucopia Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2011
Great salad recipe and it's funny, people pay $8 for a bowl of this at a restaurant and it's so easy! I ommited the blue cheese but sprinkled with a bit of salt and pepper.

Pumpkin Coffee Ring

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2011
This recipe turned out fantastically. I had to cook mine for about 35 minutes because the inside was doughey but be careful. The pumpkin and cream cheese make it appear that the bread is not done when in fact it is.

Gingersnaps II

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2011
My husband loved these and isn't a fan of gingerbread. These were the first recipe that I've come across that didn't taste too much like molasses. We will be using these for gingerbread cookies come Christmas for sure.
