Glazed Pork Chop

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2006
VERY good flavor!! I changed it up a little bit... doubled up the glaze and instead of baking, just brushed it on both sides of the pork chop and cooked on a grill. Reapplied glaze a few times as I turned them over. Boyfriend thought these were amazing and ate 3 servings! Served with baked potatoes and corn. Would definitley make again. Next time I would probably try marinating them in the sauce for a bit!

Chicken Saltimbocca

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2003
Just was definitley missing something!! The sauce had a great flavor to it but a little salty (even though I didn't add any extra salt). I served this over angel hair and it was pretty good!

Bacon Cheeseburger Upside Down Pizza

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2003
My boyfriend absolutely LOVED this one but I just thought it was ok. We used Bisquick for the topping and it tasted pretty good. Definitely tasted better the next day!

Chicken Pepper Steak

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2003
This was a pretty good recipe!! To kick it up a little I added black pepper and crushed red pepper. I also threw in a pinch of ginger and a lot of sesame seeds. Served it over egg noodles and it was great! Next time I'll try adding a little more flavor. There was this time but it was missing SOMETHING...just couldn't figure out what it was! Great recipe though! Thanks!

Lizzy's Creamy Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2003
We LOVED this recipe!! Granted, we did it totally different. I used two chicken breasts so I cut all the ingredients pretty much in half. I browned the chicken and used italian bread crumbs. Then instead of baking it, in a bowl I mixed the whole can of soup, half the onion soup, a very big tablespoon of sour cream, about a quarter cup white wine, and 3/4 of the can of water and mixed together. After that, I poured the soup mixture into the pan with the chicken and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes. I made rice on the side and also made busicuits. There was enough gravy for everything and it was amazing!! Thanks for the idea!!!!

Chicken Lo Mein

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2002
This wasn't anything great. NOTHING like lo mein in chinese restaurants. I love ginger, cut it in half according to suggestions and it was STILL too much. Takes a little too long to make for the outcome. I tried making it with a few changes (different veggies) and it still wasn't anything special. Thanks for the recipie though...

Cheddar and Onion Soup Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2002
This recipe was REALLY good! I changed it up a bit. In the flour, I seasoned it with a pinch of garlic powder, basil, parsley, oregano, crushed red pepper, paprika. Then I pounded out the chicken until it was really thin. Then I coated them in flour, put cheese in the middle, and rolled them up. I then put more cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan) on top and put them in the oven. I only used 2 chicken breasts but cut them each in half to make 4 pieces. I only used one cup water and half a pack on onion soup but there WASN'T enough 'gravy'. I will definitley make this again but probably use 3/4 cup water and 3/4 pack of soup. 45 mins is a little too long too. Maybe 30-35 next time!! The boyfriend had NO complaints and my roomate got seconds! I love this recepie! VERY eay to make!

Saltimbocca alla Pollo

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2002
Not bad dish... the only thing I suggest is to go to a real Italian deli and get REAL procuitto!! Make sure it's imported from Italy (it will be saltier so cut down a little on the added salt). I've tried using both kinds (cheap and expensive procuitto) and it was definitely better with the good stuff!!
