White Chili with Ground Turkey

love this soup. to cut down on fat i left the cheese out and sprinkle a little on the top. Also I smash two cans of beans and put in 2 cans as is.

Spinach and Leek White Bean Soup

Good, change of pace. I used the thyme and rosemary like other users. Also I added extra spinach and left out the couscous. Next time I will add mushrooms.

Beaker's Vegetable Barley Soup

I made a few changes, but it is excellent! I didn't have garbonzo beans or zucchini so I left them out. To make up for it I doubled the tomatoes and added green beans, corn, and peas. Very yummy.

Black Bean and Salsa Soup

Excellent soup. I added diced bell peppers, corn and onions to make it a little chunky and added an extra can of beans not mashed. Everyone loved it!

This was great! We don't eat meat so I left out the bacon and added extra onion and carrots. I added about a tablespoon of Chipotle Tabsco to add a little kick and used my immersion blender to puree most of it. I served it with grated parm on top. Definitely the best split pea soup I have made.

Red Lentil Curry

I made modifications as recommended by a friend. I substituted the tomato for coconut milk and added about half a cup of peanut butter. Then served it all over brown rice. Yummy!

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Wow! This is delicious. I made it using low fat cream cheese, skim milk, and fat free whipped topping and it was still delicious. This will definitely be a dessert that I make more often. Thank you for the great recipe.

Playgroup Granola Bars

Thank you for a great recipe. I made a few changes to make it healthier. I substitute the oil with applesauce and add flax seeds to the mix. I also add some rice crispies for extra crunch.

Marinade for Steak I

This was excellent. We added Montreal Steak Seasoning to the steaks before putting them in the marinade. The steaks were delicious. We will definitely be making this again!

Quick and easy. If I have time I let it rise a little. Sometimes I add some herbs or crushed red peppers, but it is good on its own as well.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

These were excellent. I made them for dessert for a dinner I was hosting and everyone loved them. The only changes I made was to use all butter instead of shortening and I added chocolate chips and craisins instead of raisins.

Trinidad Stewed Chicken

This was fantastic. Spicy and sweet. I used a can of lite coconut milk and ommitted the water. Also added a cup of fresh broccoli a couple minutes before it was finished. Thank you for sharing a great recipe!
